when a pelican bites you there's no malice in their eyes. they aren't upset at you. they are just hungry and want to see if you fit in their mouths. and if you don't then it's no problem and everything is fine. and if you do then well i guess your fate is sealed but that's ok it's a beautiful animal

I am beyond disappointed that there is no picture of the dog or the frog.

my dog came and got me while I was getting ready for work this morning, and she was signaling that it was Very Urgent. I followed her downstairs thinking something was wrong with my senior dog or my partner but the minute my foot hit the bottom step my partner loudly asked "Did she come get you, too?"

"She did, what's wrong?"

"She wants you to look at the frog."

"...The frog?"

"Yeah. The frog."

"There's a frog?"

"on the window, yeah"

so she was standing in the corner staring at me VERY expectantly and somewhat impatiently, so I walked over and she immediately turned her attention back to the window and sure enough. very high up. and very small. there was a frog.

keep in mind that bigfoot himself could be in the yard outside and this dog Would Not Care. but god forbid a frog catches a vibe on the window I guess. anyway. glad my dog deemed this worthy of my attention

did a very fun interview to do with LIBRARY JOURNAL, worth checking out because it is a RARE CASE of me choosing to use my literary voice in an interview instead of my social media voice 

i DILIGENTLY kept these two trots separate for a long time for a host of reasons but mostly because metaphors i use in this space kept my way of CHRONIC PAIN at bay and saved my life. i trot lightly with this version of my presentation because it is REAL. THIS IS NOT A BIT IT IS LITERALLY ME

however my recent journey has been to strip away as much metaphor as possible while maintaining the trot of health benefits that the pink bag has given me, specifically as a way to express my autism, sexuality and gender, so i have been EXPERIMENTING with these borders VERY CAREFULLY

ultimately what i have found is that AS LONG AS I AM DECIDING when to shift, it feels safe and good. it cannot be someone else DEMANDING i express myself a certain way in a certain setting, i have to to choose it on my own. i suppose that trot is all ANYONE really needs

anyway, i might do this more (at least in writing), who knows. there is a CURRENT BIG PROJECT im working on that is very revealing that i will not talk on much, but it was part of my inspiration. just sayin stay tuned for something NON-FICTION about the way of chuck and enjoy the interview buckaroos
