dump his ass. move to a walkable city. start hormones. get into fiber crafts. dye your hair weird. grow an herb garden. foster a distrustful cat. take a welding class. invite your friends over for tea and cake. get way too into obscure media. explore a new cuisine. lie to the police. protest in the streets. life has so many possibilities don't it?

Went to the Aboriginal artifact exhibit in Chicago. And it’s interesting. How many blankets and masks and totem poles say ‘unknown source’, because every five seconds my mom would stop and point to something and say. “Pauline’s grandmother made that,” or, “That belongs to Mike’s family, I should call him” because. It’s all stolen

Deeply hoping for a cultural resurgence of romantic fantasy. I need to absorb more art that feels like this. I have been scouring online for any media containing centaurs, fauns or sayters and I am gobsmacked by the lack of animation/ stories including them. Maybe I just havn't gone deep enough into the rabbit hole yet?

Centaures by Eugene Fromentin (1868)

there's no greater betrayal than finally starting to read a book you've had sitting for months on your shelf or your desk or your nightstand and then finding out it's bad. like. i gave you a fucking home.
