Say Hi to my new mate, Foxy! I bought my carrier on the Departure Day-2, OMG that so hard to make a decision in a tight time. At first I have no plan to buy any new carrier, because my cousin already lent me her carrier, but i didn't realize that 70L is such that big! Even the empty wight size of it is around 3kg. Well, actually, with a polar sleeping bag inside of it. Meanwhile i don't buy any baggage, which is mean that the max. dimension cabin baggage allowed is 54cm x 35cm x 25cm, and 7-10kg in weight. Hahahahahha... Soooo.. i should buy my own.. Here is an article from www.duaransel.com that helped such a newbie backpacker, like me, a lot http://www.duaransel.com/tips-2/travel-tips/tips-memilih-backpack/ Lesson learned is, choose the carrier which you are really-really comfortable with. And also, dont bother your own self with your unimportant belongings. Enjoy the trip and just travel light. That's why, even Deuter's price is quite high among the others, evenmore for a newbie like me- who planned to buy Consina below 600K IDR at first, I still pick Foxy to be mine. The size is just perfect, and the torso length are perfectly fits. Spec info: - Deuter FOX 40L - 1 Main Compartment, 2 Sidepocket, 1 Top pocket. - Adjuctable VariQuick System for back length system - 2 Acces: Top and Below Minus: - Raincover not included - Regular back padding, Neither supportive frame nor mesh/net padding system (i dont know what's the name). With that system which is more advanced, the price is 1200K IDR Price: 950K IDR Bought it on Cartenz Adventure, JL. Kaliurang KM. 06 At first my alternative is Cozmeed, with their tempting lifetime warranty, DENALI 60L for 650K Okay. That's all my notes for now! Happy discovering!

Trying Out Couchsurfing for The Very First Time #1
A year ago, I was randomly decided to join my mom and her friend to saw the traditional torajans funeral ceremony. And then off we went for 10 days - that kinda gives me some addiction of exploring new places and new things for the first time. A month ago, my friend ask me if I will join her backpacking trip to Indochina. And I randomly said yes. Without planning, evenmore in financial things. Hahaha.
Suddenly i remembered about Couchsurfing that I once heard of. This is such a new whole thing for me, for us exactly. But it sound interesting, because we will meet the local who willing to meet and take us around. And via Couch Request we can find (if we are lucky) some place to stay for a night, for (basically) free. The way it works is just like if you stay on your friend’s place, but friends that you never meet yet before. Just get along with them, share your experiences, stories, or teach some skills, or may be give them small souvenirs.
Well, so far I love this idea. Basically, I love random things. Not only that, trying out Couchsurfing might be good for our travelling budget too.. Ps: Small secret, well its not such a secret anymore because i shared this on internet, I believe random things is beautiful on its own way because my Almighty already arranged them with great reasons behind.
