Have you ever realized that there are so many writings on how the members will treat you, the reader, like true royalty, but nobody ever describes how you would treat them.

Nobody mentions how you’d always be there for Jin as a source of humbleness. That he can always wind down and become his true self with you because you give him comfort. How he appreciates you for allowing him to give you his heart, mainly because you wanted to protect it. Not because it makes you look good.

Nobody ever mentions how you built up the heart to learn how to keep a distance from Hoseok when needed. How you gave him all the support in the world when it came to his quirks and ambitions. That you were selfless enough to let your emotional guard down, and give him the optimistic love that helps him get through the day.

Nobody mentions how you heal Yoongi from his past wounds. How, with every plate of food you deliver when he’s tired, or every morning text you send him for encouragement, you allow him to realize that all is not truly bad in the world. How whenever you make him smile, you know that he will be alright because at those precise moments, you gave him a chance to find pleasure in the presence of merely being alive.

Nobody mentions how you allow Namjoon to be more human. That you have playful competition with your conversations, and you both learn something new from each other. How he can be “childlike” around you because you provide him comfort to not have to take charge all the time. How you made him realize that he doesn’t have all the answers, and that it’s okay.

Nobody ever dare mentions how you give Jimin a shoulder to cry on. How you lift him up so much that sometimes, it becomes emotionally draining. But you will never mind it because you grew to care for him more than the two of you would’ve expected. How you comfort him as he takes off his public mask and make him feel just as confident and loved. That you’re truly there for him through thick and thin no matter the distance.

Nobody ever mentions how you truly take care of Taehyung. How you constantly give him hope even when he seems as if he doesn’t need it. How you’ve gotten so close to him, that you can look past his unbothered persona and help heal what’s underneath. How you make his heart complete with a single smile, laugh, or helpful action. How you actually love him unconditionally; even when times get rough.

And nobody will EVER mention how you hold Jungkook down. How you’re his rock when things get too out of control. You care for his physical and mental health, but not in a stubborn motherly way, for he is not a child. You do it in a mature fashion which allowed him to learn how to take care of himself. How you adore his goofy side and love how he can open his complete self up to you. How you will always be his best friend, and that no matter how often he doesn’t admit it, he needs you in his life.
