Although I know it's not always completely accurate, Hetalia has genuinely taught me a lot about history, and it got me interested in learning more.

I would never have known about the Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth, and it got me briefly interested in reading more about the Baltic states. Even when they're namedropped in popular culture (the family in The Jungle is Lithuanian, the Yelnats in Holes are Latvian), they only stuck in my mind because of Hetalia. I probably would have learned at some point that Prussia was a German state, but a lot of history classes tend to lump together the states that would become Germany.

Idk maybe it's the underlying comfort and sweetness of someone (Gabriel) deeply loving someone that's deemed as too much, too annoying, to exhausting and full of flaws by their environment (Gilbert) and when they're together they are able to grow as people and bring out the best in each other

The plagues | Historical Hetalia: Templar Trials

6 months of work, 106+ frames, my hyperfocus made me draw the entire second half in about a month with barely any breaks in between (thank god because I need the motivation kick to get such long projects done)

But I finally did it and I'm proud of me for pulling through 😭❤️

Anyways here we have a Historical Hetalia animatic about the Templar Trials and the conflict between Gabriel and Francis (who fell victim to the king's propaganda).

I might make an analysis post later on.

Reposting the most diabetes causing thing I've ever made

This comic was made with the hc in mind that their eye colors are each others' favourite color. Gabriel is often associated with red which corresponds with Gilbert's eyes while Gilbert is kinda associated with blue later on in life which is also Gabriel's eye color.

This color based headcanon is one of my favourites in regards to TeuTemp

I used CapCut before for my animatics but it has become unusable at this point because everything went to pro💀💀
