This might be the worst thing I've ever seen... Then again I did once attempt to make brownies using only brownie mix and one can of pumpkin because I was out of eggs so. 0/10 we all make mistakes but this may be unforgivable.




I um. I ran out of milk, but I wanted scrambled eggs, right? Uh. So a normal person would just. Not. Use milk. But um. I’m different, I guess. So I. I used a banana and strawberry smoothie instead. It um. Well it turned out like this. Kinda looks like wet cement.

I've done something unconscionable for a smoothie blog


Today held no smoothies in its cold embrace, only milkshake. This was like an 8/10 it was super sweet and not my favorite. If I do this again (unlikely) I will use plain cake. Anyway this was red velvet cake with cream cheese frosting, lactose free cookies and cream ice cream, and milk. How am I saying it's too sweet am I turning into an old person.

Today's smoothie: mango, white peach, avocado, cherries, spinach, and banana, milk to blend. This was basically brunch for me along with some chips because I forgot to get breakfast lol. Overall like a 5/10 I left the peel on the mango and peach and that was a mistake. I might prep the ingredients for another and put them in the freezer because I'm not a huge fan of fresh fruit smoothies, the texture and temperature just isn't quite right. It also tastes mostly of banana so I'll be leaving that out next time.

Today's smoothie! Ingredients: blueberries, strawberries, raspberries, blackberries, milk, and Greek yogurt
It was kinda a 'toss the rest of the bags of fruit in there' day. Not the best texture because of the seeds, but a solid smoothie. 6/10

Today's smoothie
Ingredients: chocolate milk, sour cream, frozen banana and strawberry mix
This was definitely a good smoothie. The texture is much improved and the banana/strawberry mix complements the chocolate milk much better than the raspberries and blackberries. If I had to do something different I would probably add a spoonful of cocoa and a drizzle of honey to punch up the chocolate flavor and balance out the bitterness. Overall, 8/10 but I think my ancient blender is on its last legs

Today's smoothie felt more like a shake but I guess it still counts?
Greek yogurt, plain oats, frozen strawberries, unsweetened cocoa powder, and some cream because I didn't have any milk.
This came out to be THICCCCCCCC. Almost a bit too thick for my liking. I would definitely replace cream with milk to see if that would help. The oats added a bit of a gritty texture but I don't hate it.
It wasn't too sweet, so I think adding unsweetened cocoa powder instead of hot chocolate mix was the right call. The honey is there because it's an anti oxidant and helps with my flare-ups but it's also nice because it helps to control the sweetness.
Texture: 7/10
Taste: 9/10
Looks: 7/10
Overall a solid 7.5 out of 10 for me.
Would I make again? Yes. Although I think I would use milk instead of cream.

I definitely agree with you on the oats and unsweetened cocoa parts, when you're adding a sweetener or something else that's very sweet it's best to use the unsweetened version of another ingredient to keep the balance i think. One time I realized we were out of blueberries so i put a blueberry oatmeal packet in my smoothie and the texture turned out so bad 😭 Tbh i think without the oats this would be really close to what I'm going to be trying when we pick up more frozen fruit. Overall i think it'd be a 7/10 because of the oats. If so good why do they fuck up the texture so much 😭

hiii friend here's my smoothie. I remembered we had some frozen mixed berries so I decided to blend em. we only have a lil blender so I couldn't make much.
she's got said berries (blueberry, raspberry, blackberry, strawberry), unsweetened vanilla coconut yogurt, banana, a drizzle of honey and splash of almond milk. flavor and texture get a 9/10 from me because it's genuinely so refreshing.
Oooooo! I would give this an 8/10 because i hate the seeds from raspberries and blackberries but it looks like it would taste so good. I hadn't considered coconut in smoothies before but i may see if i can get some the next time we go shopping.

Overall definitely an improvement from yesterday. We were out of plain yogurt but sour cream is very similar and a good substitute. I will most likely remake it again with a different frozen fruit because we finally ran out of berry mix. 7/10

Made this smoothie yesterday.
Ingredients: Spinach, frozen berry mix, fresh cherries, yogurt, and chocolate milk
Overall 6/10. The chocolate milk made it a little bit creamier than usual but it was a bit too sweet for my personal taste, and the seeds from the raspberries always throw me off. I may remake this with plain yogurt and a different frozen fruit to see if that changes the ranking. Pretty solid smoothie though

This one is similar to the one I sent you earlier BUT it's orange juice instead of milk and yoghurt
So: nectarines, frozen strawberries, bananas, orange juice, and some honey
The taste was definitely fruitier, but I suppose it lost some of the creaminess the yoghurt and milk gave it.
My ranking
Taste: 9/10
Texture: 7/10
Looks: 10/10 (very pretty pink)
Would make again? Yes.
I also like this one. Might make it to see if it changes the rating but for now I will give this a 7/10 (I am a fiend for dairy)

Okay so this smoothie I made earlier today:
Greek unflavoured yogurt, frozen strawberries, bananas, nectarines, honey and milk :)
A bit plain but the frozen strawberries really made it nice and refreshing (especially considering it's summer now)
Have a cherry for your time 🍒🍒


Good smoothie. 8/10 for variety and color :)
