I very recently got into an argument on Twitter with someone who was spewing some bullshit about "Women shouldn't be allowed to have hysterectomies! It's just internalized self-hatred! It's misogyny!" or some shit. I argued in defense of those with horrible periods, those with PCOS or Endometriosis, or really just people who don't want to have their uterus and/or ovaries anymore; The other person unironically told me that I was abusing women with my rhetoric and blocked me after I pointed out that they were no different than the men they despised in that they were telling women what they should be able to do with their own bodies.

So I'd like to join in on your reminder.

I am a cis woman and I fucking hate having ovaries and a uterus. They do NOT somehow define my womanhood and do, in fact, make it an infinitely more miserable experience to be stuck living life in this body. I will likely be yeeting them off of this mortal coil as soon as I safely can. This is not internalized misogyny or whatever bullshit term you've all latched onto this week; It's simply me as an adult person thinking that I should be able to do whatever I want to my body, up to and including removing organs that are officially problematic.

every time I post about how much I hate my period some dumbass terf gets mad about my "internalized misogyny" for "hating my natural woman body" so periodic reminder that I'm a cis woman and I hate my period, my uterus can eat shit, and I'd flush my ovaries down the toilet given half an opportunity fuck this shit 🖕🖕🖕
