in tears remembering when i went to the pride parade in my hometown dressed all up in ace colors and a group of kids, maybe 13, came up and talked to us and one kid was showing me their ace bracelet they had made and they were smiling up at me. i was the only one there in ace colors and it just made me so happy that they could see me and see an adult who is like them. im not okay
