Excluding the fact that Jimmy Crystal is played by Jack, who I also love, what are your thoughts on the character itself?

After finding out who he's based on I was... unsure if I liked him. But then I thought about how it's based on a time long before the allegations came out, as of now I'm mixed and would love to hear the opinion of another Jack O'Connell fan.

That’s so understandable, we don’t really know anything on the character himself other than the 2 minutes we have seen him, that being said though taking in the scene and his scene in the beginning he is clearly a man who is stuck in his childhood, other than the look being based off him he himself isn’t yknow? Like the rest of the jimmy’s are different colored track suits as a reference to teletubbies, and they fight with the choreography of power rangers, so far other than the looks he has shown no signs of being a copy paste of Saville, he’s his own character it kinda feels like if people were to start getting mad at 2022 riddler for being somewhat inspired by the zodiac killer when they’re still 2 completely different entities all in all (and other characters who have been inspired by atrocious people), until we get the sequel though we are all blind to the actual Jimmy Crystal character other than what we already have (which is a weird, off putting cult leader)

Tl;dr: inspired by and being the same are 2 different things, we know nothing of Jimmy Crystal himself so for now it’s a… enjoy what content we do have with the knowledge that he can become a way worse character in the sequel
