The other night husband and I were watching a documentary about the yeti where they were doing DNA analysis of samples of supposed yeti fur, and every one of them came back as bears.

Anyway, the next night we watched a thing about some pig man who is supposed to live in Vermont. People said it had claws and a pig nose but walked upright like a man. Now, I happen to know that sideshows used to shave bears and present them as pig men. So every piece of evidence they gave of this monster sounds to me like a bear with mange.

So now the running joke in our house is that everything is bears. Aliens? Bears. Loch Ness monster? Bear. Every cryptozoological mystery is just a very crafty bear.

Bears. They’re everywhere. Be wary. Anyone or anything could be a bear.

Tankies, MLs, or leftist verticals (people who prefer to work in hierarchies) in general? Because those are very different questions. There are very few actual tankies though those who are definitely pose problems. I define tanky as people who:

A. refuse to admit that any nominally communist/socialist nation ever made any mistake

B. Think that Stalin was the height of all theorists and that even Lenin's and Marx's works pale to his.

MLs are okay. They tend to try to treat anarchists like children who just need to "read more theory" to become MLs which is very annoying and grossly inaccurate but they can be worked with in most capacities as long as one doesn't simply allow them total control.

Very Silly Concept: a show called "Accessibility Nightmares" but it's structured exactly like Kitchen Nightmares. An accessibility specialist goes to different establishments and helps them make their businesses more accessible.

The accessibility specialist asks why the door at the top of the small set of stairs has a wheelchair symbol on it. The owner replies that's the accessible bathroom. The camera zooms in on the specialist as they process this information.

A customer with a service dog comes in to a restaurant. The hostess tells them they don't allow dogs. The accessibly specialist looks over at the hostess like

During my abuse I lost about 50 pounds in under a year. Most people were complimenting me on the loss. Only one person came to me to ask if everything was ok. I was already so deeply brainwashed I said things were fine. At that time my wife was watching from my phone and began forcing me to eat so people wouldn't notice. I won't say that if someone changes their body then something is wrong but it's definitely possible.
