Oh Hi 👋 and happy almost Fall. Haven’t been on here in forever! What a day ……anyone else?!! Had a lot of questions after my last story about fitness over 50 and happy to share! I am fortunate to work with a personal trainer who pushes me. Nutrition, motivates me and always strives to show me what I can do to improve….although sometimes I wanna tell him to #foff not gonna lie 😂 @jl_fitness__ Almost 3 years ago I had never set foot inside a gym and now it’s just a part of everyday life ~ which is amazing! One of the best things I’ve ever done for me is to take charge of my health and learn about my body and what I can do to improve my wellness. I am now 52 and in the best shape of my life ~ so reminder it’s never too late to look after you. No cute caption or products in today’s post. Just an “Oh Hi” and a smile 🤍 Things have been busy lately and lots going on in life ~ as I’m sure in your world too! I had an unfortunate skincare reaction 3 weeks ago with a new face serum. Just a friendly reminder that even when you do a patch test first with no reaction things can still go sideways. As a person who tests out a lot of skincare I have learned a very valuable lesson. And I can’t stress enough the importance of doing research on a brand and its ingredients before ever applying it to your skin! Finally able to show my face in public. The swelling, burns and peeling have all healed. No foundation, blush or other makeup yet but hopefully soon. Honestly I can be ready and out of the house in 10 minutes these days which is a bonus!! Wearing tinted lipgloss…..but in windy Calgary not ideal 💨 If you have long hair and live in a windy locale you know! Au Natural with my new red skin but thankful no lasting damage. Sunday Funday and hope y’all are doing amazing! Been such a crazy few months for me and haven’t posted in forever…..have been feeling guilty! And realized finally that’s OK! Happiest Weekend 💞 Been a heck of a week here for sure! How you doing? Lots of questions about @shein_ca and this dress after my story earlier this week and happy to share my thoughts! First time ordering from @sheinofficial and I was a little skeptical I have to say. I ordered 15 pieces which totalled 10 outfits plus 2 pairs of shoes. Placed my order July 27th and it arrived August 3rd which was awesome! (But be prepared for a Customs & Duty invoice on top of your order.) For those of you who are wondering ~ size wise I didn’t order anything too fitted first time out because I wasn’t sure if they fit true to size or not. As I am on the petite side ~ I ordered mostly small but also medium where bust size came into play. Thrilled to say all my items fit beautifully. Obviously these are not long life staple wardrobe pieces but fun and stylish! If they last me a season or two, thrilled with the fit and quality for such a reasonable price point. Monday Funday & Happiest Victoria Day! Who doesn’t enjoy an extra day away right?
