At first I was kinda confused about Christopher Willits opening for him, considering I haven't heard anything from Eskmo in a few years, and now that I know his currently album isn't the glitchy dubstep beats I know him for, and more indie vocal stuff, it makes sense! Intrigued to see what his live show is like, with music video design like this.

He just announced on his mailing list a couple days ago he was gonna be a last minute opener for Eskmo in Chicago, and I was like "HEY I'M GONNA BE THERE" so hell yeah! He's one of my fave ambient/electro-acoustic artists and it's been a couple years since I've seen him (last time doing a 3D sound installation in an aquarium :o)

She's open for The Soft Moon, who I already know kill it live, but I've never seen her and have been a fan for years, so I am stoked to zone out~

This video reminds me of Takagi Masakatsu's video work, which is a Good Thing.

Edit: nooo, show sold out shortly doors opened, so I only got to hear her from outside the back door, lmao. Was able to get in after her set tho, of course~

Wow, Friday's 10 year anniversary show IRL was pretty amazing.
