The sniper lifted a hand and rubbed the back of his head. He shifted a little to get more comfortable in his pathetic position against the wall. "I dont intent do, mon ami--." he winced slightly the pain hitting him in waves.

"You see, I possess certain skills that don't match yours up close. I did fight, but I failed. I'm not so conceded to try to fight someone much bigger then myself... That's why I-" he make his hand into a gun shape, pointing it to the trappers head and making a little jolt motion to indicate a shot, "-take out the trouble from afar. Being here is reckless though... But I don't normally get caught in the act."

He had no problem admitting his failure or his low skill level. Though showing this kind of weakness could be seen as a stupid move, and perhaps it was; In the sniper's mind he was convincing his enemy to underestimate him in the future.

The frenchman's first instinct was one of cowardice, dropping his rifle and lifting his hands up. He tried not to struggle, for fear the trapper may kill him without a second thought.

"I'll say, I'm surprised you're--... A lot sneakier then your spy. He hasn't caught me yet." Credit where credit was due, even now under threat of respawn, he had to give props to the man. It wasn't often he could be snuck up on.

"You caught me... How about we save me the timer of respawn and you just let me be on my way?" He wasn't actually expecting to be let go, but he wasn't yet sure he could fight his way out of this. All he had was a hidden switchblade, after all.

Cries of pain as he is easily bested due to the gap in experience with close combat. Using the wall he pushes himself just enough to turn and look up at his assailant. "Tu ferais mieux… Garde ta grosse tête cachée…" His last words? A threat in an almost playful tone, accompanied by a smile.

He was honestly surprised the man spoke French, but it was important to note going forward. Though he definitely lost the battle here, he's learning new information to come back with next time he faces the Trapper.

"Qui est celui qui me retient en otage au lieu de me tuer instantanément? Tu as quelque chose à craindre en moi." In a quick motion, the sniper moves his arms back down, a knife slipping from his left sleeve and unsheathing with a click. He then tries to jab it backwards into the Trappers leg as an attempt to catch him off guard enough to break free of the hold. If he really wanted a fight, the gunman could oblige.

"Apologies--" The Sniper let out one last chuckle, awkwardly moving his hand forward to offer and help the scout up, but pulling it away after realizing he was too late.

"I'm sure it is fine, gamin, walking it off might do the trick." Sniper was never one for... medical knowledge. He's always been the kind of person to shrug off injuries and issues and move on, though it has landed him in tough water before. "At least it wasn't a bullet, huh? Dodging those are a little harder then bats." He was attempting to joke with the scout as a distraction from the minor injury.

"Ah, le petit lapin qui court partout. It seems I have been tasked to actually interact with my team more... Miss Pauling believes it will 'improve my team co-operation'. You are the first stop on my journey." The sniper waves motions with his hands as he explains his ordeal regarding his sudden surgency into the scene. "So... How are you doing today, mon ami?"

I stopped what I was doing (practicing my batting) to turn and look at him.

"I'm doin' quite well today, just gettin' my batting in."

I then took a swing. Almost hitting Sniper here.. woops.

I then stopped again and looked at him with a bit of a puzzled expression. One of curiosity and suspicion.

"Now, I have no idea what you just said in that 'fancy' language of yours, but it better have been nothin' bad.."

The sniper snorted a laugh, quickly covering his mouth and nose with a gloved hand, trying to contain his laughter. After composing himself, he lifted his glasses off his eyes and onto his forehead to try and show sincerity in his expression, " Are you okay?... snrk-" He had to stop himself from laughing again.

"I do not think your foot makes a good ball, mon ami." He teased lightly, not trying to be mean, only in light jest.

"Ah, le petit lapin qui court partout. It seems I have been tasked to actually interact with my team more... Miss Pauling believes it will 'improve my team co-operation'. You are the first stop on my journey." The sniper waves motions with his hands as he explains his ordeal regarding his sudden surgency into the scene. "So... How are you doing today, mon ami?"

"Good form!... When its not aimed at my head." He chuckled nervously in response to the close call, taking a step back to make sure he wouldn't be caught in the crossfire.

"Non, non, Scout, only compliments, I assure you!" He forced a smile, trying to calculate each and every one of his own movements. He wasn't exactly the best at socializing, "How far do you think you could hit a ball now? With all of your practice, I assume you'd hit a home run every time?" He tried to make his tone playful, though the engagement seemed a little forced on his end; he's trying.

This is a tf2 rp blog, and I intend to stay in character as often as possible! If I need to talk out of turn, such as questions being directed at me, I will always use purple text in italics with an additional sign off of "~mod"

This blog is 18+ While I dont plan to post explicit NSFW, I myself am an adult who prefers to be in adult spaces. I wont comb through everyone who may follow or interact with me, but I might block minors if I am uncomfortable! Furthermore, suggestive asks and interactions are fine, but I do intend to stray away from pure NSFW/sexual themes!

Anyone can ask/interact! While BLU Sniper is more likely to be warmer to those of his own team, hes not one to completely shut down other teams or affiliations! He can be cooperative in roleplay and is open to anyone of any affiliation, anons and all!

Shipping & Art I dont mind shipping one bit, in artwork or roleplay!! Its possible for an official ship to develop for Sniper in the future, but it would likely happen over a long set of rp, and of course would be discussed between mods via DMs! No NSFW, but go wild with any fanart; shipping, interaction, or otherwise! (Any of Snipers's family members are OFF LIMITS for shipping, for obvious reasons!)

Lore exists, and drama is fun My Sniper has a laundry list of issues and situations he has lived with, as well as lore that has developed over many years! A lot of this lore is dark and/or dramatic, and can be dark at times. Not to say he is all dark and no day, he does have a fair share of goof!

I reserve certain rights, as I am a person No one is entitled to my or Sniper's replies, and thus some may be ignored. Its not out of malice, but rather simple choice or even accident! Sometimes I am not comfortable answering things for whatever reason, and that's that! Keep in mind I am a real person behind a character, not just an internet toy :)
