I’m not the first to say this, but I will say it here. When you start denying rights to any kind of people, you start denying them to yourself. If you strip away the access to public defenders and pull back on the right to a fair and speedy trial and then this shit happens to you, you’re shit outta luck. “But, I’m not a criminal?”
