And once again hearing no one bother to ask Otis about just Otis today just made something snap in his brain. It just came out, and he’d meant to say it jokingly... But the tone was heavy immediately.

     It was when he’d heard the response of “Shut up” that Otis felt himself tense and break his attention from maintenencing ESBB for the hundredth time this week. His shoulders raising as he silently pulled his hood over his head. Great... He’d made Pico mad... That wasn’t even his intentions with it either.

     ‘ Pico that wasn’t... ‘ He took in a deep breath. ‘ I wasn’t trying to guilt you. If anything I meant to say it as a joke. I didn’t mean it like that, Pico, honest. ‘

     Those last words cut deep. Wouldn’t want to talk to him if he wasn’t such a nerd... Like he’d understand. Robotics was the only way he felt like himself outside the cafe job he worked at. People there knew who he was. Otherwise all he ever was, was a specific red head’s cousin and that’s it. They didn’t care about him.      ♔𝒫𝒾𝒸ℴ;;– Normally, Pico expected hang outs to just kind of taper off after a while. His eyes would normally be glued to a phone screen as he just started scrolling through the emails he missed about gigs or the occasional merc job that needed filling. However, with Jack it was different. He mostly sat and just watched the other and put in some slight conversation. Not too much, but enough that him and Jack could fill the dead air when it was necessary. What Ignatius had done was levitate both himself and Kaito, before using his powers to change the interior of the room, to realistically look as though they were amongst the stars and planets within the solar system. The illusion wouldn't be permanent of course, but could still last a few hours depending on the birthday boy. The blond meanwhile looked very proud of himself, with his eyes full of mirth and a grin on his face. "I know it's been your dream to go to space, so I figured, why not make that wish come true?      🚀𝒦𝒶𝒾𝓉ℴ;;– Of course, he needed to keep his eyes shut. And especially if Ignatius had a birthday surprise, then he definitely needed to keep that small promise of not ruining it. However, the floatiness and weightlessness at some point made him worried... To the point he almost opened his eyes. But then he remembered, right, Ignatius is the Ultimate Demon/Mage. So he was probably doing this himself.

     At the signal, magenta eyes opened to the sight of the stars below them... And above them, all around them, even! He could feel an odd giddiness well up inside him, his eyes looking all around the room at them and the planets. This was more than he would have ever dreamed. Sure, it wasn’t SPACE space. But, it certainly did the job for the Ultimate Astronaut.

     ‘ This is awesome! ‘ He shouted excitedly. ‘ Thank you, Ignatius!  This is so awesome! We should do this again. Oh, and we should bring Shuichi and Maki Roll into it too! I think they’ll get a kick out of this... And, I guess, if you want, we can get Kokichi to join us too. ‘
