Ribbon - Phineas and Ferb Fanfic

Hey guys! I’ve officially made my first fanfic! I had this cute little idea for a while and wanted to make it in celebration of Pride Month and the Phineas and Ferb Revival! Speaking of said revival, this fic doesn’t have spoilers for the new season so you are free to read it. Hope you enjoy! ^^

Summary:

In the episode Comet Kermillian, Lawrence sees that a supposed cure for antidisestablishmentarianism is found (even though it’s more of an ideological stance than a disease). Linda says then that she plans to take off her ribbon, however, she finds herself hesitating. That’s when she reminisces some and comes to realize that it has a much more deeper meaning to her… that it’s more than just a ribbon… that it allowed her to still be herself during a tough time… so she could still be Linda.

I agree with a good chunk of these

phineas and ferb characters from most to least gay (my opinion)

major monogram. idk if hes married or not but he gives aggressive captain holt (b99) energy and i wouldnt be surprised if we off handedly found out he had a husband

buford. hes got a crush on baljeet. obviously. also, i dunno, the whole "bully" thing is just intrinsically queer-with-self-hatred to me. so he goes at the top.

linda. shes the type of mom that you find out actually had a long term girlfriend before you were born. if i found out she was part girlkisser, i would not be surprised.

baljeet. "GAY TWINK!" you shout. but i do not listen. baljeet is a pan baddie. i have no reasoning other than that i think he gives pan pride flag energy.

stacy. maybe this is just because i ship her with vanessa. but idk she gives fem lesbian to me.

candace. she totally had a crush on vanessa but is also undeniably in love with jeremy. shes bi and i love her.

vanessa. pretty much on the same level as candace but candace serves straight passing and vanessa serves "looks gay"

perry. do platypi homosexual? idk and i dont feel like looking it up. so he goes here.

carl. hot take, i know. but he just doesnt give queer energy. he more accurately gives the guy that everyone thinks is gay but is really just not stereotypically hyper masculine. that being said if anyone in the show was canon gay it would probably be him.

lawrence. he probably had a close male friend that he questioned having feelings for as a teen, but he just seems straight. he serves "my wife is bi and i love her".

jeremy. same as lawrence pretty much but he didnt ever question his sexuality.

doofenschmirtz. would absolutely be supportive of his bi daughter but isnt gay himself. i do ABSOLUTELY hc him as aroace though.

phineas. similar to above, except he canonically did have a crush on isabella. hes probably demi or something.

ferb. epitome of "not gay, just european." my man is straight.

isabella. yes, girl scouts is so lesbian core. but i cant see her as anything but straight. sorry fam.

hey about your phineas and ferb oc’s… i was wondering… how did linda and charlotte meet?

Great question! The two of them met in college. They both were studying subjects in the astronomy field and grew close overtime. Charlotte also helped encourage Linda to become a popstar like how she wanted to, even if it was short lived. The two loved going out and doing all kinds of activities (stargazing dates were their favorite). There was a time they became a bit distant after Charlotte’s parents weren’t exactly thrilled about her relationship with Linda (homophobia during pride month? How dare they 😤), but Charlotte couldn’t bare it. She knew she wanted to be with Linda, so she cut off ties with her toxic family (they were toxic in many ways but that’s another story for another day) to eventually marry Linda, even changing her last name from Estelle to Flynn because Linda was her family now. And of course, later down the line that family would expand once Candace and Phineas came around. ^^

I’m a bit bored so I’m doing a slight ask blog for my kinda main Phineas and Ferb AU and p&f ocs. Feel free to ask anything!

For the ocs, the list currently is as follows:

Agent O/Ozzie: Retired OWCA agent, is an Ocelot and one of Doof’s sisters. She lives on a nature reserve since her kind is endangered. She had a nemesis for years but after her nemesis retired, she did as well.

(Extra info: so I have this au/headcanon where the reason why Linda keeps quiet about her astrophysics background is cuz she actually used to be an ‘evil’ scientist, aka worked for L.O.V.E.M.U.F.F.I.N before eventually retiring from it. Ozzie here, is Doof’s sister and an OWCA agent who ends up being Linda’s nemesis. However when Linda retired, Ozzie retired as well)

Agent R/Racoon: yep, doesn’t even rlly have a name lol nor a home. He’s a bit of an old grump but is a good mentor to the newer agents, calls all agents younger than him ‘kid’. He also has a slight Boston or New York accent.

Sooo funny thing I actually do have an oc that is also this premise! I should post her tbh. Her name is Ozzie the Ocelot and she’s one of Doof’s siblings ^^

I should explain her story sometime. She’s on retirement rn but is annoyed cuz she’s about to be dragged out of it-

Day 7, Tropes.

I looked up the most-used tropes in Phineas and Ferb according to the TV Tropes website, and ended up vibing with what's called "contrived coincidence". IT'S EVERYWHERE!! The dialectic between the A and B plots exist without being called into question by ANY of the characters because of a never-ending series of the most arbitrary coincidences possible.

And I learned something new! Fun! @howtonerdoutovereverything
