I think about pokemon in non-battle situations a lot. Like pokemon who have been trained/raised to be helpers and assistants than to be battle partners.

Pokemon visiting hospitals to cheer patients up like dogs and cats do. Or ones that help kids learn to read, speak, swim, go through therapy?! Even pokemon who’s abilities help owners with specific disabilities?!

I love thinking of pokemon outside of battle situations.

You don't have to worry about DLC spoilers from me - I haven't even actually played the first DLC yet, let alone next week's.

I'm also from other fandoms where it's customary to not post spoilers at all for two weeks, and behind read more cuts or spoiler tags for six months after release. I'm not bothered about it either way for pokemon, but I'll probably be at least tagging spoilers if I DO get around to playing it before the six months window.

Got some altaria propaganda; some of the doodles I’ve been filling a page with and some other stuff

Other reasons to vote for altaria:

-it’s based off the legendary bluebird of happiness :>

-its mega is the only current dragon/fairy type and gets amazing bonus fluffiness points

-the five pointed fluff on mega altaria’s back is reminiscent of a natural cotton head, and cotton buds are commonly used in medicine and other cool stuff (also, it’s got a cool hat and a neckwarmer)

-all of its Pokédex entries mentions how lovely it is to be around; it sings in a beautiful soprano, it gives people hugs, and whoever hears its song gets happy daydreams

-very versatile in combat: it can counter any of its possible weaknesses with some of the moves it can learn

-large enough for you to lean against to sleep on its wing (and will let you) but still small enough to be okay to keep out in the house

One of the best things about being in a long-term relationship is being able to "and another thing!" about something that was annoying me a full two weeks ago and having my partner pick that conversation right back up as if we'd just stopped to get a drink of water.

I think a really good relationship dynamic is when one partner is an entirely absurd person and the other partner's perpetual thought process is, "I adore you. Why are you like this? I'm going to kiss you at such length and with such fervor that you'll get disoriented and stop being like this for five minutes and I can rest, for fuck's sake."

Someone from Unova travels to Kanto/Johto wearing a t-shirt with a big R on the chest. They get dirty looks for it and have no idea what’s going on.

A Kalosian meets someone from Sinnoh and keeps standing too close to them. The Sinnoh native keeps stepping back uncomfortably, but the Kalosian keeps stepping closer.

Someone from Johto goes to Unova and ????EVERYTHING IS SO BIG=????

A Hoennian meets up with a Kalosian and the Kalosian goes for cheek kisses while the Hoennian goes for a gentle head butt.
