             SEEING FUYUMI whenever he got home always brought genuine joy into his eyes. Arms wrapping around her quickly when he sees her; he’s quick to press a kiss to her forehead as he gives his usual warm greeting. Though he gets cut off pretty quickly when Fuyumi presents a gift to him, it has a very strange color palette choice which he caught right off the bat. And he nods as he listens to her speak and slowly starts opening the box. When he sees what it is eyes go wide and he looks back at her slowly and then back at the test.

“Are you serious? This ain’t a joke?? Fuyumi??” 

It felt as though someone kicked the air out of his lungs as this realization starts sinking in for the BMI hero. The idea of becoming a father and creating this new little family with her; even if not in the best circumstances. He would have preferred to give her a wedding ring before any of this even occurred, but regardless he’s on cloud nine at the revelation. And soon enough tears are brimming around his eyes and his arms wrap around her tightly. 

“ ‘COURSE I’M HAPPY! DARLIN’ WE’RE GONNA BEPARENTS THIS IS AMAZIN’ NEWS!! This is the best giftanyone’s ever given me...” 

His smile is nothing, but genuine. A hand going to caress her cheek as he gives her one lingering kiss. He could very much be the happiest man in Japan right now.

      THE woman questions ,  but her ask is in no shape or form ;  if anything ,  she is playful   ---   fuyumi is teasing him a little ,  and it shows how she became comfortable around him .  but turquoise eyes turn from his form to the view in front of them two ,  even extending her hand as snow fell ,  letting it hit her hand .

      a snowflake lands on her palm ,  yet it remains the same .  it doesn’t change at all ,  and when she brings her hand back closer to them both ( even turning completely towards him ) ,  the snowflake remains .  her free hands grabs his wrist ,  raising it and even going as far as to place it on his hand ,  both her hands below his as the snow crystal levitates slightly thanks to her quirk .

      “  it’s my favorite too -  makes me feel at home .   ”  the young woman responds ,  eyes locked on the crystal in front of them now .  there’s definitely a smile on her lips as she continues ,  and it’s soft like snow ;  like her .  “  i can go around without fear of getting sick ,  too !  i can handle the cold ,  i have that from my mother -  but warmth ?  i die a little each time .  ”  a giggle leaves her lips ,  and it makes her eyes close and her shoulders shake .

      she is happy .

         “  but . . .  it gives me some other type of warmth ,  you know ?  you can be close to your loved ones ,  maybe watch a movie under a blanket ,  fire lit beside you and with a hot cocoa in your hand .  ”  she thinks ,  head turning again to the view although her hands remain holding his .  “  i wish more people saw winter like that ,  though -  they are so quick to see the negatives ,  but don’t even look for the positives .  i like it because of that ,  though !  because once you really look ,  once you really open your eyes -  there’s so many good things that you forget all the bad ones .  ”

         FUYUMI looks down at herself ,  eyeing the blue shirt she had picked from his closet when he had let her spent the night .  it was big ,  too big   ---   he was correct ;  it almost felt like a dress ,  and the moment she put it on and saw herself in the mirror she blushed .

      god . . .  she was far too in love now ,  wasn’t she ?

      “  . . .  thank you .  “  she smiles at him ,  gentle and genuine ;  and she even giggles .  “  it is very comfortable ,  if it’s worth knowing .  “
