Good-bye.

I started this blog because I wanted to share small details in SNSD videos that I thought were cool, interesting, awesome, blah blah blah, but there are only so many details in 10 music videos that you can point out without things getting redundant, insignificant, and trivial. I haven't received a valuable submission in a very long time, and I don't plan on watching "Paparazzi" in slow motion x10 just to see if Ddilpany or Jesshik makes another mistake.

I considered giving this blog away to somebody else, but I realized that there is really no point. I don't want this blog to be cluttered with random stuff like "Yoona is wearing the same ring as Yuri!" Besides, there are a lot of blogs now dedicated to details, such as kpop-details.

how do you make gifs?

This only works on a Mac I think:

1. Find a YouTube video, and view it in HD.2. Open up Quicktime. Click on File and then New Screen Recording.3. Start recording the screen as I play the music video.4. Stop recording when I have the part that I need.5. Import it into Photoshop.6. Crop and add things to it.

omg this is so nice ;;

I was in there for abdominal obstruction. They have no idea how/why it happened, but I had the same thing last year. I'm thinking it has to do with peanuts. ;___; But I'm finally out after 2 days of sitting around the hospital waiting for pain medication. Hopefully it won't happen again.

But last year, I had the same thing happened, was discharged from the hospital, and then the pain returned so I had to go back in 2 days later. Hopefully that won't happen this year! >_<

in Genie (kor/3d) Taeyeon sings her solo while dancing with the rest of the girls, but in the Japanesse version she dosen't and integrates when the do the line.

This is something all the girls do from time to time. During their solo parts, they sometimes dance and they sometimes just sing. It's part of the performance. I'm not going to make a post about every one of these.

In the ending pose of "The Boys" Jessica and Tiffany are on the Floor because they are from the USA and the reason Sunny Is bent over is because she was born in the USA. But wasn't raised there. The other members stand because they were born and raised in S. Korea.

That's a bit of a stretch. Then, can you explain all other ending poses?

I'm not going to do any "___ and ___ are wearing the same clothes!!!" posts. They don't decide what they're going to wear, the same clothes don't signify anything, and I don't see what's so fascinating about two members who are part of the same girl group who all share the same stylist in the same video wearing the same clothes. Sorry.

In the recent close-up version of the paparazzi mv, yuri has her hair down during most of the golden cuts, when it was actually tied in the original version just like the other members.

Does this really make your appreciation of the Paparazzi MV better?

During the music video Visula dreams, Tiffany changes shoes halfway through because it was difficult to dance with.

I doubt Visual Dreams, which has their least demanding dancing skills or stamina, was the one song that forced Tiffany to change shoes because of difficulty.

hihi! just found your blog~ here's to add on to a previous detail: the stairs hyoyeon danced on are also in these videos as well: leessang's "girl that can't breakup, guy who can't leave" (at 2m39s) and exid's "whoz that girl" (at 34s). the location of that concrete structure/building area is also apparent in these 3 videos! don't know if this has been submitted or not but here ya go! (: and i can't leave the yt links in asks :( sorry!

Tiffany and Taeyeon have killed all other OTPs.

 In Sherlock MV Jessica took part for the ghost by giving clues to the detectives (SHINee). In 3:34 there’s a hand mannequin that wore some jewelries. The hand mannequin shaped like Jessica’s hand (you can see some certain photos of Jessica and compare it with the hand mannequin in the MV).

Yeah, that was the point.

When SNSD performed ‘The Boys’ and ‘Gee’ at Coway Concert, they are seen laughing because of Sunny’s hair is all static-y and Taeyon loses her voice at 4:13 (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=u1HgA2lMQTk) due to laughing to hard.

Yes. This has already been thoroughly discussed, and I don't see this as a detail worth making a post about. It was from a performance they did where cameras weren't even present.

SNSDETAILS MOD POST!

Hey guys. I will now be updating this blog every day at 2:00pm PST (USA, West) with a new SNSDetail. That means a new detail everyday as long as I've got them queued up. In order for a new detail to come up every day, you guys need to submit your details!

Also, every Sunday there will be a mod post with rejected posts, questions answered, and blogs promoted. I will be picking a SNSD-dedicated Tumblr blog every week to promote to all you guys because I keep getting asks to promote them.

About the difference in Mr. Taxi, the gif you used for the Korean version is actually from Google Wave in LA, when two members were missing. They needed to rearrange the members in order to not left empty spots. If you check other performances from korean music shows, you'll see Taeyeon starts from the very left too :)

The only reason I chose to GIF the Google Wave performance was because it was the only one that showed Taeyeon in the middle clearly in one shot. At some point, SM decided Taeyeon being in the middle was a better idea for Korea possibly because her popularity is arguably #1 in Korea while in Japan, Sooyoung is in the middle because her popularity is arguably #1 in Japan.

During performances of Mr. Taxi in Japan, Taeyeon starts her part from the very left of the stage. But during the performances in Korea, she starts off in the middle. Why do you think this is?
