It's Wildlife Wednesday! Today we are featuring the three lined salamander (Eurycea guttolineata). Being such a humid state, it's not surprising that Alabama is home to 73 indigenous amphibians - 43 of which are salamanders! This is a fairly common species, but still a delight to see.

Work in progress. The book shelf was handmade I think by my grandfather in the seventies or something. It鈥檚 solid wood and rough finish. But I sat on top and it held my weight nicely so I think I鈥檒l put the aquarium on top.
This is giving me some nineties vibes with the forgotten realms, dragonlamce , and card captor Sakura stuff on the shelf.
