Before Cursed Child, people complained that Draco wasn’t redeemed and that there were no good Slytherins in canon. (both debatable points)
Cursed Child gave us redeemed Draco, and two new heroic Slytherin characters. It contains an entire speech about how it’s our hearts that matter, not our Houses.
Now people are refusing to accept Cursed Child as canon and STILL complaining about Draco’s lack of redemption and JKR’s portrayal of Slytherins.
Nope. You can’t have it both ways. Feel free to ignore Cursed Child, but if you do so you don’t get to keep whining about canon’s portrayal of Draco and Slytherins. JKR handed you what you wanted on a plate. Time to stop complaining.
(I challenge people to respond to the specific text of this post without going off on irrelevant rants about Cursed Child. That would be awesome.)

Regarding the drama 'Eternal Love'
Back in around 2009, the novel '三生三世十里桃花', which can be translated into 'Three Lives Three Worlds, Ten Miles Peach Blossoms', currently a popular Chinese drama on air by the title of 'Eternal Love' was a very popular novel. However, it did not became popular because of its good writing skills or the good story plotline. Back then, in the yaoi genres, there is a very famous author by the pen name of 大风刮过 (we shall address her as DFGG for now), and she written a very popular boy-love novel by the title of '桃花债', which can be roughly translated into 'Peach Blossom's Debt', or 'Love Debt'. The author of 'Eternal Love', 唐七 (which we shall address as TQ) back then first started out writing boy-love as well, however her writing skills were, to be honest, horrible and made no sense. Seeing that writing boy-love wasn't bringing her the fame and attention, she turned to writing boy-girl relationships. At that time, TQ was a huge fan of DFGG, so much that TQ wrote 'Eternal Love' in a style that is hugely similar to DFGG's writing style. TQ even went to the extend of creating multiple accounts and forge them as readers that went to DFGG'S 'Peach Blossom's Debt' story and gave remarks of how similar 'Eternal Love' is to 'Peach Blossom's Debt' and made the readers think that DFGG opened another account to write boy-girl relationship stories. It has been proven today that TQ has plagiarized DFGG'S and some other authors. Not only in the similar writing styles, in the similar plotlines, especially in the 51 plot points that is similar between 'Peach Blossom's Debt' and 'Eternal Love'. There are many evidences that can be found, and this incident is infamous in the Chinese writing industry. TQ has a bad reputation not only because of how she plagiarized other's works, but also in her attitude. She has the nerves to scorn DFGG of not being able to publish her works because at that time (even till now), China does not easily accept LGBT. (I am writing this because I have realized this just recently about TQ's plagiarism issue, and the fact that her stories have been translated to English to be sold. It is a shame because at one point of time she was, truth to be told, my favorite author. I read three of her stories and enjoyed them a lot, only to realize years later that literally most of her stories have issues of plagiarism. From 三生三世十里桃花, ,三生三世枕上书 (the sister novel to 'Eternal Love', to 华胥引. These are the few stories that I have read from her, and sad to say all of these stories were plagiarized from other people's original works. As of now, I have already did some character edits based on the drama. Now that I am clear about this issue, I will no longer be working on any edits based on this drama. As a writer myself, I would hate to have my work plagiarized, even worse is that we have all the evidence but it is nearly impossible to sue TQ to Court.) As we all should know, plagiarism is a huge issue that should not be condoned. I sincerely hope that everyone who read this will understand the truth and return justice to DFGG and all the original authors.

How in the world does a child know a word like “inordinate”? These brats know all kind of words. They’re book addicts.
