Following the bright smiling modern Shixiong Here a modern sticky shidi a bit surprised (and enjoyed 🤩) by shixiong smiling! I don't know if you're familiar with candy apples! They're fresh apples covered in a layer of crunchy sugar, and interestingly, France and Belgium (maybe Quebec?) are the a places where they're associated with love. In fact, they're called Pomme d'amour, “love apple” I thought it was amusing to imagine Quan Yizhen eating one, for the symbolism, without even realizing it, and perhaps even sharing it!

You are one of the people I would love to start a conversation with, but my English is so poor that it makes me very shy (and distant against my will 😥 ). Aaaah, my babies!!!! Your novel is an incredible work that has all the right ingredients: mystery, angst, tears, love, endearing characters, contemplative descriptions. Until the very end, I think I'll be wondering how it will end, whether it will be good or bad, and honestly, I'm ready to accept both. It's my little evening chapter. A little dessert before bed. In my story, the main character falls in love with a radioactive creature and does the surprised pikachu face when his brain and body gets fried from the radioactivity.

Ivan fell asleep holding Suhov in his arms. But when he woke up, he was only holding the thin air. He looked around but he didn’t see Suhov anywhere. It was dawn. He slowly got up and felt the metallic taste in his mouth still; he felt like he needed to spit it out. He tried to do so and spat blood. “Huh,” Ivan stared at the blood on the ground for a couple of seconds. Then shrugged. “All I wanted out of this was a good one night stand anyways… Which I got, what more can a man ask for.” He was missing Suhov still, he had some hopes of waking up together, but it didn’t happen, which just further confirmed what everyone told him about Dima Suhov. What future does a stalker, and the ghost of the Zone have together? What happens to someone whose heart is still beating, yearning for someone who doesn’t adhere to the nature of time? Ivan swore that he would find that out.

Many thanks to my dear friends @parameciam and @sobanvallion for reminding me that I actually have an (almost) finished original novel which I've been writing for the past 11 years! And while I've been drawing my guys regularly for these past years as I was progressing with my novel, since I've gotten into TGCF, I haven't drawn them!

So, uh, I'm calling this 'Eastern European yaoi'! (as a big Eastern European sci-fi fan, my magnum opus is a S.T.A.L.K.E.R. yaoi!)
