I have been headcanoning them that they used to be just like any normal colleague, they were, definitely not as poor as in the movie. There is something alike about them —you probably catch it on the screen. Preferring more private time, I think they do, as you can see he(Rj) separated himself to live in secluded shack and tried to avoid meeting anyone. He said to Fuchs once ‘I wanna go back to my shack and get drunk’, I ain’t sure it was him as usual or just in that moment. And Clark, he would choose his dogs to spend time with, but it’s not all. Sometimes he went to the rec room and joined the other crews in parlor activities. They somehow could share the feeling of detachment implicitly. I’m damned with this dynamic to death, could you at least evaluate the results before stabbing someone’s holding the gun
