Text
Being a Queer Christian is beautiful actually because in a world telling you that you aren’t loved you get to look to God and say “Don’t worry; My faith is stronger than their fear”
And there is something poetic to that.

“The great Mystics tend to recognize that Whoever God is, he or she does not need our protection or perfect understanding. All of our words, dogmas, and rituals are like children playing in a sandbox before infinite Mystery and Wonderment. If anything is true, then it always has been true; and people who sincerely search will touch upon the same truth in every age and culture, while using different language, symbols, and rituals to point us in the same direction. The direction is always toward more love and union–and in ever widening circles.”

"The lesson of Wuthering Heights, of Greek tragedy and, ultimately, of all religions, is that there is an instinctive tendency towards divine intoxication which the rational world of calculation cannot bear."

I pull the rug from under myself. And no matter: I am free, powerless, and I will die: in every sense of the word I do not know the limits of duty.
