Do you have any advice how to simplify drawing mechs Transformers One's style? 😭 I love how you draw them both detailed to see their unique characteristics and simple enough to show their base shapes, and I've been trying to emulate it to draw another character in its style (Skyfire) but I really struggle with it. I'm really sorry for asking bc it's quite audacious thing to ask, but I was curious if you have a technique in how you do it

Hello🙏  It's true that each continuity has difference design but the basic in learning and simplify them is still the same to me, I need to find the shape first I learned how to draw rodimus before I start learning to draw tfone bots so for me I think this is how I sketch tf character in general Use this opportunity to share some drawing process I kept from TEG fanart🙏 It's fun to look at the progress

I haven't drawn many tf character other than IDW, TF One and TFP but I think IDW bots are harder to draw than TF One although idw reference are easier to use bc it is already 2d art with clean lines but those too many lines sometimes overwhelmed to look at so the best way to learn from them is also to find the overall shape first and keep only the details that are obvious on that bot (it's also bc im too lazy to draw every detail and polish everything) All of the bots I have drawn, I think Trailbreaker is the hardest one 55555555555 I tried my best to understand him but I still feel like I failed something
