💚 What’s their type?

❅   There are a couple key traits that are important to him, but other than that if you give him enough time, he can warm up to almost anybody given you fit his (surprisingly low/flexible) standards. ­­ ­

❅   The first trait is kindness/empathy. If you’re the type of person that doesn’t care about other people or you always put yourself in front of others, then he’ll not be interested at all. Sure, he used to not be the greatest of people, but he changed. He is forgiving if you can do the same eventually, but by then you’d have to go to great lengths to prove it and it’d take a minute. Don’t be surprised if he’s still a little short-tempered with you until then, though.

❅   The second trait is honesty! He can’t stand pathological liars because you can never tell what the truth with them could possibly be. Sure, some situations call for lying, maybe, but if you’re constantly messing with him, he’ll just get mad.

❅   Other than that, he’s down for just about anyone. Be a good person. Don’t lie. Really, he’d be happy if you were shy, funny, hot-headed, goofy, dumb, the strongest person around, timid or whatever else. He can tease the best of them, but he can’t handle his own medicine, so if you’re the type to not back down from a challenge, he can get a little flustered defensive.

💙 What is their perfect date?

❅   The typical romantic date. Dining at a fancy restaurant outside on the patio. There’s a body of water on the backside of the restaurant, so if you look down past the railing, you can see swans swimming in the calm night. There’s not a lot of business, so no one else is around. Above you is a clear night sky, so you can see all of the stars surrounding the bright, full moon. A breeze goes by that’s cool enough to make you shiver, so he removes his jacket and puts it on you, while also moving his chair closer to yours. Despite how no one is paying attention to the two of you, you’re both talking in hushed whispers, eyes gazing at each other the entire time.

❅   That makes a perfect date for him, but anything that makes a date go from ‘meh’ to ‘hell yeah!!’ is when:

You’re both so caught up in each other that the world beyond the two of you might as well not even exist.

He gets his chance to be the ‘perfect boyfriend’.

You reciprocate his affections, even if you’re shy about it.

The conversation never goes stale.

The blue waves of light quickly cascade away the moment I step outside of the scanner. It doesn’t take long for my eyes to draw towards the huge building in front of me, to see it’s emblem displayed right above the open entryway. Some students are already wandering around outside, talking to others or working on some sort of contraption. 

“Welcome to the Willray University of Excellence!” My tour guide nudges me in the side and I move away a bit, feeling her bony elbow a little too deeply. “It may look perfect now, but wait until finals. Then it starts to look like your typical run-of-the-mill college.” 

I roll my eyes at her, walking down the steps and onto the pathway to the school. 

“I’d rather it stay perfect. Utopia can’t be built on exhausted college students and a trashed highly rated university.”

Through the Windows is a dating sim/visual novel that takes place within the city of Iubar, where innovation and technology take precedence over everything else. It’s been the home of many scholars and inventors, and now it’s your home as well!

You play as a student that’s finally had the chance to go to the college of their dreams right in the middle of Iubar itself; Willray University of Excellence! You’re a young engineer hellbent on learning robotics at the best school around, and while you may already know a thing or two, you’re excited to know more. With androids becoming more and more ingrained into society since it’s invention 20 years ago, you’ve been dying to become a part of the constantly advancing field.

And while you’re not in Iubar to make friends, you can’t help but get close to the people you see everyday. Especially those roommates of yours. Will you choose to be their friend? Or… possibly something more? Would you even have the chance to, when you realize that the world is changing, with or without you?

Features

There are 9 different love interests, four of which need special requirements in order to date. 5 of them are your roommates, living within a shared house close to Willray.

You have the option of doing a simple friend route, which means you won’t have to romance anyone and you still get all of the plot! None of the character development will be skipped on, either.

You get to choose how flirty you like to be. Bold or shy?

A simple flowchart will be made within the menu so you can easily go back to part of a story that you’ve already seen, just to replay that favorite moment!

The game features LGBT characters, and you won’t be limited on which you’ll be able to romance.

The game will be rated 13+.

The game will be available on IOS/Android and MAC/PC.

Chapter updates will be made, so the full game won’t be released immediately.
