As soon as I found out this comic cover existed, I just knew I needed to redraw it with my own pseudocast. incessant ramblings about this redraw under the cut

ironically enough the casting wasn't that far off. i knew I wanted to use as many main characters / focus characters as possible, so that meant no discord or big mac, as much as they fit. i think that twilight would make a better frank because she's also kind of the most well known figure of her series, and that meant rarity could be janet and my rarijack dreams could come true. picking who'd be riff and magenta was the most difficult, but i decided to go with trixie and starlight given their association with twilight and with each other (its important to me that magenta and riff make sense with each other in a pseudo cast). they don't really fit the requirement of "main character" like the others, but that was bound to happen to someone and i'd rather they be a pair so it makes more sense. figuring out who'd be rocky was also difficult and the only real reason it's fluttershy is cus she didn't rlly fit anyone else but she matches the colors! and if anyone is curious, the rest of my pseudocast is: Spike is Dr. Scott (looking for his friend rainbow dash) and Discord is the criminologist due to the sort of meta / 4th wall breaking vibes he has. this redraw uses my designs for the mane 6 because i said so. so rarity is green, applejack is half cow, and fluttershy is half peryton. this redraw also uses my designs for the RHPS original cast as ponies! because of course i've done that already, i'd be a fake MLP / RHPS fan if i hadn't. that's why colombia and eddie are pegasi, and why pinkie has fake wings on (to match colombia!). this is also where the fake cutie mark designs come from (i changed riff's from the one in the post but that's it). and finally, my main gripe with the original drawing (as awesome as it is) was that everyone is bipedal. i can understand why they did it, but i wanted to challenge myself to make everyone quadrapedal again, and i think i did pretty good!

In 2023 I was trying to complete the task of drawing every version of Neo I could find. Obviously I did not last very long and only ever made it through my friends' versions (of which there are so many), but I like to think I made a considerable dent! Credits are all in the images themselves. I held onto these for a while with the hopes I'd come back eventually, but I've moved on from RWBY so I don't think I'll ever finish. Nonetheless, I hope any Neo fans out there enjoy! @yulecatt @kindredsuffering @lesbianneopolitan
