Imagine if that leak about Mike and Jonathan arguing over Will's safety turned out to be true.

Mike and Will go to the lake alone for whatever reason. Maybe because Will feels something there.

Will gets taken, and Mike is powerless to protect him. He comes back and has to tell everyone what happened.

Jonathan just blows up. He rips into Mike. "How can you be so stupid? What were you even thinking? You knew Will was a target, but you still went out like this was one of your campaigns. This is all your fault!"
