This interview doesn’t exist online as far as I remember as it was done so long ago(in fact, many of the interviews have expired links) in paper magazine. Naegi's VA's comment on this week's episodes

Ogata Megumi, Naegi and Komaeda’s voice actress, does an online radio program. every week after every episode of DR. Some interesting things were said after this week’s episode

The radio after 9th Mirai-hen episode 1. There’s no class trials, no punishments, and no jokes around. Ogata thinks things are fun when there’s a gag character so she doesn’t like the fact that Bandai died early. 2. She’s quite surprised by the large number of underage people listening to radio. 3. She disses Naegi for doing nothing except riding Asahina every time. 4. Then she talks about some everyday stories that listeners sent. It’s the corner where she tells the listeners whether their stories are ‘Hope’ or ‘Despair’. All of them are gloomy but she says they’re all 'Hopes’. I’ll add them if people are interested. 5. Kizakura’s voice in the bonus drama CD was recorded before the VA passed out. 6. In aftermath talk Ogata disses Kodaka for killing Kirigiri off. She was somewhat suspecting her death in advance because Kirigiri had too many lines. 7. Sakakura really did die. She told everyone to watch Despair episode to find out why he died. 8. Ogata was surprised by unusually large survivor number in the opening, but she suspects that it includes Togami and Hagakure as well.

The radio after 9th Zetsubou-hen episode

1. The recording session place is in mayhem right now as well. Everyone is saying that they’ve been tricked by the creators. 2. One of the listeners asked Ogata if Nanami will be okay. She answered 'Erm… well… keep on watching.’ 3. In the aftermath talk session, listeners say 'Hey what’s with this week’s episode. It’s so shocking. Please give us some consolation’ and Ogata answered 'I think I’m the one who needs consolation right now.’ 4. Ogata asked the creators what Yukizome felt like when she was being brainwashed. They answered it might feel nice and comfortable, just like head massaging. There was a gadget for head massaging at the scene so they poked other VA’s at the scene. Nanami’s VA’s reaction was great, saying 'Huwaaaa’ 5. They had three recording sessions for next Zetsubou-hen’s episode. It was something they couldn’t record at once. It’s going to be awesome.

I wonder what she means by 'awesome’…. I hope it’s in a good way…

I mentioned this in my reblog, but I thought I’d make a separate post.

Basic informations on Danganronpa radio.

The radio broadcasts twice a week.

You can listen to Mirai-hen’s radio here: http://www.onsen.ag/program/dangan_m/

You can listen to Zetsubou-hen’s radio here: http://www.onsen.ag/program/dangan_z/

Mirai-hen's radio starts at 22:30~23:00 Monday, and goes off during Mirai-hen’s TV broadcast. Then it starts again after the end of newest episode.

Zetsubou-hen’s radio starts at 23:00 ~23:30 Thursday, then goes off during Zetsubou-hen’s TV broadcast then resumes.

You need premium Niconico douga account to listen to it live and send in your stories to be read by Ogata. There’s a page for livestreaming radio in Niconico douga, I think. the site is here: http://nicovideo.jp/

My hopes for DR3 animation

I think it’s bit late now, but I hope it’s not too late to do this.

Hopes: 1. Naegi mentioning how sad Maizono’s death was in Future Arc. Then in the same week’s Despair Arc’s episode, Maizono and Naegi hanging out together merrily to amplify the sadness. 2. Naegi dying. Yes. I want him dead. I want him so dead. 3. More info about Maizono’s past or character. 4. Interesting deaths. 5. Kirigiri’s death. Yes I want people to die!! YESSSU!!! 6. Nakajima Kanon’s appearance. Or at least a glimpse or hint of her whereabouts. 7. Soldiers of Hope appearing. I wanna see those cute children again…!! 8. I want Asahina Yuuta to be mentioned too. 9. Interesting story behind Mitarai Ryota. 10. Izuru becoming the cause of Nanami’s death. 11. More Mukuro screentime. 12. Actual contents of ‘motivational videos’ DR1 cast received. 13. ‘How’ are all the murders being broadcasted. 14. More Naegi Komaru screentime. 15. Enough Komaeda screentime

Some things I don’t want to see: 1. Naegi becoming couple/marrying someone/spending married life. 2. No mention of Maizono at all. (Which I think is near impossible) 3. Crappy mastermind revealation. 4. Another fake-out death.

Will look at this list again after the end of the animation series.

Stuffs regarding next installment of Danganronpa

1. Kodaka wants to take a break from Danganronpa series.

2. He is currently thinking up of next piece, which will probably be adventure genre. (He didn’t say it was danganronpa).

3. He thinks V3 has reached the highest spot for a visual novel.

4. He said he wants to see DR made by someone else. He doesn’t mind handing DR over to someone else as long as sucess is guaranteed like Persona series did.

5. He really wants to make fighter genre game with Danganronpa characters if he has to make another Danganronpa game.

6. Kodaka’s wage rose a lot.

7. Currently, he’s not thinking of any sequels for any Danganronpa series. But there might be ‘pretty Danganronpa’ in production in the place he doesn’t know(he said this jokingly though). Japanese fans are wondering if that ‘pretty Danganronpa’ is a Danganronpa world where there are no murders.

So Kodaka’s next game will likely be a completely new one.

There's still hope for Munasaka!!

This is more like a personal headcanon though.

People didn’t get it that Munakata suddenly abandoned all his social positions&powers and went off to somewhere right? Isn’t it weird that 78th class and 77th class got a happy ending while Munakata didn’t? Well here’s what I’ve been thinking. What if Mikan did a first aid on Sakakura too? She saved Kirigiri in coma, so why not Sakakura too? Then why did Munakata decide to drop everything off? Maybe to spend some time with Sakakura? I mean, openly gay headmaster won’t be acceptable by public standards(in DR’s world). Well, he could hide it all right, but Sakakura’s pride is high and he didn’t want to show his true sexuality to the public. And they can’t hide it forever if Munakata is high and important. So I guess Munakata is resigning to give new generations some place and to spend quality time with Sakakura. Then it’ll be a happy ending for Munakata too!!

Those are my wishes though…

Kirigiri Jin “Right, today was my birthday huh… I had completely forgotten about it. I’m sorry for making you bother. It’s a little embarrassing but… I like this. Thank you.”

Director Sasaki ordered Kodaka to write something because presents for Kirigiri Jin’s birthday had arrived. So this is what he wrote.

And Kodaka later added:

“It’s a story that ignores the time record, a stuff that ignores everything but, it would be nice to see a day when Kirigiri Jin and Kirigiri and Kizakura gather up and have a birthday party of their own. I really like dandy gentlemen.”
