Mainly love that ur not afraid to show more mature topics with the characters even though they’re in highschool (though I do think u said they were seniors), I can vouch since I myself am a high schooler and I just overall love it, can’t wait for more!! <333 (also I can’t stop rewatching the animation memes you have for them guhh it’s so good 🙏🙏🙏)

thank you so much!! i wanted to show more mature topics not as a means to sexualize/glamorize but kind of just as my own way of processing teenage/young adult life. i'm not really afraid to show these topics because well.. i mean lets not pretend all highschoolers are saints now 😭

obviously not all though! i grew up being "a floater friend", so i have expirience in being an awkward shut in, and hanging out with those types, while also being an intoxicated ravegirl, partying and exploring abandoned places with a more rebellious group. it's very odd and contrasting that i've lived both lives and i wanted to find some sort of outlet to process that as an artist.

I used sonic characters because i knew if i wanted to tell a story i wouldn't have gotten as much traction, but most importantly it would have taken me a lot longer to build the characters and audience for such a show.

i think working under parody helps too because i tend not to take myself seriously sometimes, but also, it would be kind of silly trying to protray certain things with a serious tone using.. sonic characters... i always like to joke around anyways so why not fall under parody aswell? that's why i'm heavily inspired by the corniness of teen drama shows, and parodys of that genre.

hi :3 I was wondering if Mina mongoose would make any cameos in this series? I feel like she’d fit in really well with a high school drama series considering her original role in the comics. Either way! really excited to see what comes out next^^

yes she will be! i already have a va for her but i work as a solo animator so it may take a lot longer than you expect to see her show up. might take years i try my best to work as fast as i can without burning out :<

Not exactly a question but I love how your SHA Sonic wears a skirt. I saw Arcany's comment saying 'i like how sonic is wearing a skirt because he'd rather die than wear pants' on the pilot. After having this thought in my mind for literal years, seeing someone else do it gives me life.

By the way, the art's really cute and captures the 2000s style so perfectly. 'Bandicam'---

thank you! yeah im gonna be honest i made sonic wear a skirt because it literally appeared to me in a dream and i thought it would be silly. Not much of a reasoning behind it AT FIRST but then as i started to flesh out the world i was building i figured it would be practical to explain that he just rips through pants.
