Had an unexpected minor emergency procedure today (small surgery and bone graft, not a big deal, I'm fine) and so the newest chapter is delayed just a bit.

This season of the main series is almost finished (and the new season on the way!), and there's a new series coming soon that I'm excited to add to the rotation 😊

We have enough awful people and disconnection in the world. We need more that you connect with so hard it borders on the fanatical and concerning.

I think this is related to why so many people look for established relationships in fanfiction. It removes the social anxiety of "Will this work/Do they even like me?" and goes right to the connection.

have realized that while i am not a fan necessarily of "people meet and immediately fall in love" i am a fan of "people meet and are immediately obsessed with each other." the love can come later but the absolute fixation should be immediate

Hi. I just wanted to say I enjoy your series and wanted to ask why you decided to make the fmc an android and what your favorite part of that is. Thx!

Thank you! One of my favorite parts so far has been doing the HUD readouts. I started with it last year in Electromorphosis (Systems: online ; scanning...) and continued with the current Garden of Delights. I said in the notes on GoD that HUD readouts aren’t something I’ll continue going forward (except under certain circumstances) as I don’t want it to become gimmicky and get stale, so I’m really enjoying it while it’s happening.

As to the why, it’s a matter of a happy ending. Reader is a fragile organic human with a limited lifespan, and because of that, Data and Lore will have to watch her get old and die. That’s something that’s going to be touched on in another way down the line, but in order to give these three their Happily Ever After, I need to take away the quick and easy mortality of being human.

As a bonus, the bois don’t need to be so gentle with an android partner 😏

These turned out incredible 😍👏

My attempts at studying the boys to draw them slightly more accurate - although technically none of them age, Mr Spiner sure did while playing them all - so it’s interesting to base their designs off him at different ages to give them slightly different appearances to tell the 3 Soong types apart (or at least that’s what I like to do) plus it fits in with the different ages of the three brothers - B4 being the oldest, Lore being the middle and Data being the baby

I like Data as they appear in Season 1/2 - lanky and baby faced, totally emotionless as they are filled with excitment to explore the universe

Lore as he appears in brothers - slightly older, more defined features, sad a mopey cause daddy don’t love him

B4 has one appearance in the entire franchise bless his little heart - soft and chubby, the oldest appearance of the three, confused and looking like he just realised for the first time that he’s alive

Also Lore’s appearance in the comics has my HEART and SOUL, cause he’s so FUCKIGN PRETTY
