In case the hints the last couple days didn’t make it obvious… THE MAKE IT MUSICAL FEST IS BACK FOR 2022!!! Everything is basically the same as last year with a couple of minor tweaks:

PODFICS! Any fic written for the fest last year can be claimed for a podfic to be included in this year’s collection.

AIRTABLE! We will be using AirTable for prompt submission and claiming.

As a fic writer, i need every reader to know that:

I don’t care if your comment is coherent. I know what you mean and i love you

I don’t care if you ramble. I read every word and i love you

I don’t care if you leave a comment on a fic from four years ago or leave comments/kudos on like ten of my fics in one go. This isn’t IG, pls stalk my AO3. I love you

I don’t care if you mention the same thing in your comment that four other people have already mentioned. It’s actually really useful to know what resonated with people and I love everyone who takes the time to tell me they liked a particular turn of phrase

I don’t mind if your comment is super long or just a couple of sentences, i love them all

Ginny and Fred being cute lil dorks

I believe she joined each and every prank the twins did before they went to Hogwarts. She demanded to be included in the gang or she'll spill all their dirty secrets to mom. The twins were absolutely 100% terrified of little Ginny. She knew everything. Their lives were in her small hands.

Well, actually, most of the time they only let her think she's oh so scary and hold some kind of power over her older brothers. George and Fred love to have her around and adore her witty brain, her humor, her perseverance. She is a perfect partner in crime. Her blackmail has nothing to do with it, though they figured she gains some confidence from this and thought it won't hurt to let her be in charge.

This bond sort of faded after twins spent their first year in Hogwarts and when Ginny went to her first year she found "more mature people to have around". But they built a new, more powerful connection. They often work on WWW products together. Someone has to control those mad scientists, right? Both Fred and George are the best to put anyone into good spirits, support ideas. Fred sucks in comforting, though. She taught their dumb asses how to actually treat someone you like. "No, those pick-up lines weren't any good, Bill definitely pranked you." Ginny translates mom's speeches to Gred and Feorge's language. She's the reason they stopped fighting. They listen to her. Still not mom, no, have to keep rebels reputation ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ (George's secretly a mommy's boy, although no one needs know about this, especially Fred)

I won the 2004 Hugo Award for Best short story for an H. P. Lovecraft /Arthur Conan Doyle mashup fiction, so fanfiction had better be legitimate, because I'm not giving the Hugo back.

Or the 20O5 Locus Award for Best Novelette. I'm not giving that back either.

Hi, all! My AO3 penname is sophh, but most people in fandom just call me Angela.

I discovered the joys of performing in musical theatre when I was around 12 years old. These days, I proudly proclaim myself “musical theatre trash.” xD

I’m so excited to help sunflower-swan’s vision come to life with a fest that combines two of my greatest loves: HP and musicals.
