Scott Morrison actually showed up in Cobargo, a town ravaged by fire that killed two people on Monday, and expected the locals to happily greet him as a saviour. They fucking ran him out of town, such was their anger at his complete lack of genuine empathy, his contempt for fire fighters, his denial of the underlying cause of this disaster, and his attempt to use them to save his dismal PR. Go fuck yourself Morrison, you slimy Pentacostal dog. Shove your thought and prayers up your arse.

It’s really terrifying. People are being forced to flee to the beaches, in lakes and if the situation becomes worse people are being told to chuck on a life jacket and swim. It’s very real. It’s apocalyptic scenes along the coasts of NSW, the ACT and VIC. Lives have been lost. I pray that everyone is safe as they can be in this tragedy.

If you are not from Australia you might not know that a lot of Australia is on fire right now. Even though I know many people irl don't care, don't know, or just will ignore that another country they might not live in is on fire like people did with Brazil. At least we can do if we are not from Australia is be slightly aware of what is happening there and spreading the word about it.

If you are from Australia I hope so so much that you are safe and well.

Also everyone PLEASE don't let this be swept under the rug forgotten about.

For @obsessivewriter who apparently got two people assigned to her because I sure hope I didn’t misread the email I got  :)

The prompt was a gift based on one of her fics and the very first one I had already read, loved and got stuck in my head was The King and The Master of War (go read it if you haven’t already!) and I knew that was it. I loved a line in particular and decided to run with it:

And now a raven was en route to the Citadel with the official document informing the archmaesters of their marriage, and soon the scribes would be transcribing it into the books that held the history of Westeros. It made Gendry warm to think that in a thousand years, when a scholar looked through the records, his name would be found right next to Arya’s.

Sorry I was late! Internet decided to leave me a week ago but we made it in the nick of time!
