A blush paints over her cheeks when JJ tells her that she looks at Rafe the same way she use to look at him. It makes her heart ache a bit because she doesn't want to make JJ think she doesn't love or care about him. Things are just different now. They've been broken up. He did his stint with Kie and she was still with Rafe. "I love you, Jay and I think I always will but I love Rafe too. It's hard to explain and I don't expect anyone to understand. "

And then she laughs with him. " Truly I think past us would think we were crazy but I like the current versions of us. " She squeezes his hand back and then looks up at him expectantly.

She doesn't expect the kiss though and it makes her squeak softly from the shock and then slowly melt into him with her free hand burried in his hawiian shirt.

" Don't talk about yourself like that. Not when it comes to me you're special Greg, you're good. You're dependable and fun to be around... " She looks down blushing harder and says softly. " And handsome and charming too. "

He shook his head and immedatly grabbed her hand when she bundled it into a fist on the beach towel below them. "Hey, don't talk like that, Pearl. That's not a curse at all. It just means you have a big heart." He smiles at her. "It can be a fragile one, and one you put many defensive walls over." He said thinking about how their releashonship had started. "If the younger us could hear all this now, they'd never believe it." He laughed a bit trying to bring levity, but soon trying to get a more serious face to not act like this was a joke.

He looked at her and keep his hand on her own with reassurance. Silence hung in the air. "Alright, in that case..I'll just do something I mean instead!" He announced before pressing his lips suddenly onto her own. The world practically melted away and it was just the two of them. Soon he whispered to the gem..

"Pearl..you're braver than me..I've loved you even before we have been you know hanging out. You're just perfect. Sometimes, I thought you could do better than someone like me."

He wants to argue with her about that because he can't really believe he can be that ' annoying ' and actually have her stick around and not see him as some burden or weight she has to drag around. She doesn't give him the chance to though.

"I will always be honest with you, Rafe. That's the least I can do. The thought of leaving you has never crossed by mind. Not once since JJ and I reconnect. I know it can't be easy and I promise I will do my best to assure you that you are the one I am with." She reaches a hand up to cup his face, thumb brushing over his cheekbone. "I am not going to just ignore this. That's not going to solve anything and certainly not going to help us in the long run. Just going to cause resentment. You're brain is being an asshole to you but please don't stop coming to me about your feelings. I don't care how many times we go over the same thing."

She sighs and then smiles and leans into those kisses happily leaning her body against Enid's while she makes that soreness melt away with her touch. Then the cat comment did her in making her laugh. " That's exactly how it feels. Like it has a mind of it's own but that does feel so much better il mio mondo. You should keep doing that. " She mumbles with her face against Enid's body.

I used to dream about running with you in the woods when you would shift and now it feels like i can eventually. If I also wolf out. Can I or is this the limit? "Does this feel okay? I can get a heating pad to try, too, if you'd like." Enid offered. "I promise that feeling does go away. For now, you're like my adorable little black kitten trying to figure out her tail." The wolf grinned, burying her nose in her wife's neck and kissing her mating mark.

"I'm glad I was a late bloomer." Enid purred. "If I wolfed out earlier, when everyone else did, I might not have remembered what it was like as clearly as I do. Then I couldn't really help you through this." The wolf beamed. "Which still feels like such a weird, hot, supernatural anomaly - but that's just a Tuesday in the Addams family."

She felt completely vulnerable admitting that even though she knew her wife would only ever see the good and beauty in her. Sometimes your brain doesn't want to listen, but her heart did when Enid climbed on top of her and came into view.

She says everything she needs to hear. She makes all the bad thoughts crumble to dust. She makes her feel so beautiful and loved and desired, and watching her show just how much it took her breath away. It also made Wednesday ache for her even more.

Enid's touches paused at her wife's soft confession, a pained gasp slipping from her lips. She shifted to straddle Wednesday's waist, gently coaxing the blindfold up and away from her mate's eyes. Enid wanted Wednesday to see the devotion of her stare.

The wolf's upper lip curled in a brief snarl as she discarded the blindfold entirely. "We can save that for later, I wanna see you." Enid purred. She dragged sharp teeth over the peak of her wife's hip, bite sinking into the side of Wednesday's thigh.

"You are everything to me and more," Enid murmured, settling between her mate's legs, nosing her inner thigh. Eyes glanced upward with an impish grin. "My girl, my wife, my mate."

If Juniper said anything other than that his anxiety would've been through the roof but she was clear and he can respect that.
