Haru nodded softly, opening the book he’d pulled off the shelf and reading through the first few lines. No it wasn’t anything interesting to Haru. He quickly put it back. “Are you just visiting or did you come for school?” Haru wasn’t good at conversation but he was trying. He wanted to ask about his injury and recovery, but he wasn’t sure how to bring it up. Instead he just pulled another book off the shelf.
It wasn’t as if he desired any of the books before him, but with Nanase trying his best to try and converse with him with a lack of venom or some sort of tension, he would try as well. Teal hues focused ahead of him as he reached aimlessly for one of the books, tugging one down to his level, it read something about baking and was directed more towards wedding type celebrations.
“Visiting I guess.” He hadn’t paid attention to the book he had picked out, simply trying to focus on the conversation.
