now that i actually had some free time this week i've been trying to get caught up with the stuff that was added to soulframe

i really like the caster weapons, but since i got the orengall pact ive been trying out the melee weapons

if anyone wants to play with me pls send me an invite! this def seems like it'd be better with more people (esp ones who know what theyre doing bc i def don't lmao) ign is fangsie!

I’m horribly brain dead right now but here’s my attempt at some lore below

Ok I’ll be real with u, I haven’t been up to date with my codex so maybe I’m spouting nonsense (about certain details on envoy’s past) but who cares!

He doesn’t remember his name, just kinda accepts the nickname Envoy everyone keeps calling him.

he’s kinda bittersweeet about getting kicked out the Ode. He both hates and simultaneously misses it, even tho he is against their agenda. He still finds himself drawn to weapons and gear Ode in origin

he’s pretty violent and messy with killing. Finds it ironic how much blood he has to shed for redemption and restoring life. Is generally pretty apathetic in this regard.

likes to act like he’s a monster going to massacre everyone but he’s not that bad lol. This why I like to call him evil(n’t) but he’s just bored. He likes bothering civvies but some have gotten used to him and ignore him much to his attention seeking dismay.

doesn’t regularly sleep. His whole concept of living/being conscious is kinda screwed after he learned his sparrow can restore him after fatal injuries. Kinda just passes out every now and then when his body can’t take being awake anymore. His sparrow disapproves of this practice greatly djhfjdd

has a dysfunctional bond with his sparrow djhfjdjjfjsjf his sparrow is utterly let down by Envoy’s incompetence and…not so heroic behavior lol. Envoy backtalks sparrow a lot out loud jfhjfjdjf but they still somehow get along and look out for each others well-being 

terrified of dogs, mostly hides it but he’s really on edge around them after countless times being mauled by enemy dogs. He’s etiuneasy around Orengall and has a currently distant and professional bond with Cathal LOL (sometimes he will pet him)

the note on him not being a cannibal on his ref is kinda an inside joke with myself, as I usually tend to make in-game/self inserts cannibals cuz uh I have weird interests. But this time, the bad guys don’t look very palatable and my guy isn’t evil enough to eat good guys. He does occasionally wonder what sproutlings taste like, tho that isn’t cannibalism so it’s fine right??? /silly

how do i make my standing go up?? every time i do an aleca quest it doesnt give me standing and im only halfway through the rank so idk what im doing wrong

Flame of Mora Gained and Lost

This idea came to me when I was reading item descriptions in Soulframe, and I learned some lore about Igne Mora and Fenn Jotar. Long story short, Fenn stole the sun sword Igne Mora from a master blacksmith, and as punishment was cursed to never feel the warmth of the sun Mora again, so he spent the rest of his life underground. Gained the sun sword, but lost the sun itself. FAFO.

Disclaimer: Lore as of Preludes 9, the game is in pre-alpha and Fenn's backstory keeps changing.
