Yes, I'm actually swapping the results Sparkleswap uQuiz. Why? Because I feel silly again, and also because it'd likely provide slight insight for all main patients at once rather than me really needing to settle down and research each one individually.

Barry - Cursed with a thing he knows is terribly wrong. Even if it means sacrificing so much by going into the hospital, he'll do anything to get rid of that be "normal". There's nothing else he can do to be "fixed", nothing that's any safer than either this or anything else he's already attempted before.

Uni - She strives to do her best, even without feeling she can afford any real attachment. She is the main patient that's been in the hospital for the longest, so she should know that time flies, and so do patients and staff members alike. Either they disappear for twisted reasons, or they do horrific things themselves. The only reason she willingly stays is because she feels she's needed, fearing for what might happen to others without her.

Caroline - Yeeeaaah getting the other 5 results were hard enough I don't feel like subjecting myself to even more torture just to get carrie as well so uh fuck you for now

Hemera - Compliant, yet deeply dissatisfied and unhappy. She never lashes out, only turning to disobedience towards the staff if that's a must. Though, she really just wants to be happy, and to feel at ease again, like a carefree child. Alas, there's no going back, but no going forward either. And lingering for much longer is a death sentence. Well, now what?...

Jay - Avoidant and wounded. They just want to stop being haunted, but at the same time, they're obsessed. Their situation is so bad, even their own recollection is warped to cater to them. Reality just hurts far too much.

Polly - He sees nothing but darkness, yet being wholly convinced that it's all hopeless, he turns down all help. Surely it never gets better, whether there's company or not. Everything's simply either crumbled, or will soon enough. And yes, he plans on making his bleak viewpoint abundantly clear. He'll never get why everyone around him believes otherwise.

Yeeeaaah, really most of the significant differences in personality here can be boiled down to "they aren't pieces of shit".

Yeah, this post will just be about Barry. Be warned, though; all of these points aren't really organized at all, so a random meaningless piece of trivia might come before something that actually matters.

SwapSwap!Barry keeps his face mask. It's a small thing he got when one of the staff members just felt weirdly generous once.

As said before in the previous post, SwapSwap!Barry's interests such as science remain perfectly intact.

SwapSwap!Barry's reactions to things that aren't "normal" are still considerably stronger than Vanilla!Barry's, and similar to Swap!Barry, he undeniably gets increasingly jaded and worn out. Not that he'd wanna literally fucking dissect someone to "fix them" but yeah, he isn't a ball of sunshine.

Kind of a showerthought rather than something that's final, but since Swap!Barry mostly wants to make the patients "normal", what if SwapSwap!Barry was...well, not normal, and he goes to Sparklecare hoping they'll make that change, no matter how painful the process has to be? Not just cured of a disease (like in vanilla Sparklecare) or made technically healthy, but made normal?

Character relationships regarding him are likely gonna be similar to Sparkleswap. He's most emotionally attached to the committed Uni, he has the most beef with Caroline...yeah.

Likely quite unpolished, but whatever.

If there's anything that undeniably stays the same between Sparklecare and Sparkleswap, it should stay the same here too. For instance, since both Vanilla!Barry and Swap!Barry are into science, SwapSwap!Barry has to be as well.

Similarly, if any traits are purposefully removed from characters in Sparkleswap, they aren't coming back. This also goes for significant traits added to characters (e.g. SwapSwap!Barry still wouldn't exactly be the most empathetic guy). This rule is basically why this AU isn't just Sparklecare verbatim.

Character designs might be quite tricky to even conceptualize if we want things to really be accurate...

This is a small bonus but Prickles would be one of the social workers, due to initially being lumped in with them as the Chunklings equivalents in Sparkleswap.

No, I don't know what would happen to Clover Consistency, assuming it considerably changes at all.
