Hell no. Pets are cute for a little bit but do NOT trust him to be responsible enough to remember to feed it or give it the care it needs. He would need an assistant to do all the work. Plant and Child definitely no.

Haru looked up at the sky, the reflection of the fireworks shown in his eyes. A wide smile appeared on his face, and he looked over at the blonde fellow next to him with a joyous expression. "You don't have to ask me twice!" He immediately began to haphazardly put together his own firework. One meant to look like this face.

"This there...and that color here....done!" He had already paid the fee for customization. Just so that everyone could see this.

When the firework lit up the sky, it was in the shape of Haru's face, but it looked quite....off.

"Ack!! That's not what my face looks like!"

ANOTHER FIREWORK SETS INTO THE STARRY SKY, exploding into a brilliant array of sparkles. they zag through the air, illuminating all with an image of what seems a happy little face, reminiscent of the work assistant at kaveh's side. ❝ See? It's not so difficult to recreate something as that, ❞ he explains, happy that it had all gone accordingly rather than some unforeseen hiccup to come crashing in. mehrak, too, offers a little chip of happiness as it nudges a few pieces towards their company.

God knows why, but Haru had decided it would be a fine idea to eat some random berries he found growing on a bush. Now he was writhing on the ground, curled up in a ball holding his stomach-- yet he would occasionally just laugh about it.

"I think...I think I'll probably survive this one! But your cute to be so -- uhg....concerned!"

"Ah.. I see I see..." Haru nods a few times. "That's cool.." It doesn't seem like he is getting what he is trying to spell out though. Should he say it more directly?!

"But maybe you could start a new hobby of... taking me out to a delicious meal!"

"Hmm? I'm old, but not that old. I'm a shepard before, so I do have some stamina."

Being old is never ideal, but part of life, so he does deal with it. All these walks and going outside, well with all the conveniences this world has to offer, it would be ideal to simply stay inside. But...he likes the outdoors too much.

"Maybe I could find a hobby again."

"Aww...I mean, you definitely could!" Haru rubbed the back of his head, looking a little sheepish as he did so. "I just didn't think anyone was actually living here. As like a house. Honest! I thought it was one of those...ahh...what are they called...Haunted Abodes, to keep ghosts contained!" He looked from Sebastian's chest up towards his face.

"I can make it up to you. If you want! Then, if you still think I'm a rat. You can just kill me."

"Haru." He smiles, though it isn't one out of kindness or friendliness. Arms remain folded behind his back as he studies the human in front of him.

"I am the security, and as I have mentioned, I do not take kindly to rats that are uninvited into my home." He steps forward, eyes still on the boy, "Perhaps I should kill you for even thinking you could walk in here undetected." As if on cue, Morpheus' flames are ignited across his body. Red eyes stare at his prey , and he growls, readying to attack by a simple command.

"Hehe..." Haru laughed, laying there, staring up at the stranger with a goofy smile on his face. "If I die...this would be a great way to go. Not as many explosions as I wanted, but it's fine...!"

Definitely doesn't empathize with non-sentient objects. While it seems like he might. Example being if one of his collectibles fell off of a shelf or something, he'd totally be like "Mr.Cheese ..NOO!" But it's because he doesn't want his stuff to get dirty or stained.
