Moon 50 - newleaf

50 moons!!! thats so long!!! I count... 196 drawing so far, in a little over a year. thats crazy. what an amazing run we've had

also, here's a visual on our moonstone! The healers gather on the pool's edge, and starclan will appear at the crystal :3

Alright lads. Clangen comic (and this blog) is on official indefinite hiatus I've had such a fun time sharing these lil guys with you all! I hope to come back to it someday! I'm just so unbelievably swamped right now (as I usually am over the holidays) and my hyperfixation has moved on from COD. I have November's moon in the queue (the 50th! how far we've come) but I still need to draw December's and I just don't see that happening any time soon, too much of my focus is needed elsewhere and there's no real motivation anymore. I have no clue how long it might be before that motivation returns. There are some fun antics for me to return to when (or, unfortunately, if) I come back to it that I hope to someday show you all

I will take literally any opportunity to talk abt DRoP !!

dragons & riders share a lifebond from the moment the dragon hatches (in my au ghost is force-bonded to his dragon by roba) and share a telepathic connection. if a rider dies, so does their dragon, although vice versa when a dragon dies, their rider can live but will forever be a shell of themselves. They live in huge, castle-like structures carved into mountains called Weyrs.

I can totally imagine reader being a member of the weyrstaff who catches his eye, or a lower-tier rider (maybe greenrider? and they meet bc his dragon pursues the green in a mating flight) or something.

I don't have a lot of ideas rn but maybe I'll come back to this in a bit 👀

so much happened this moon! Sorrelpaw was also scarred by a wolverine but I decided not to make a whole drawing for it

this is the first time Laswell has shown up since Fawn & Doe's birth 30 MOONS AGO 😭😭

and its so funny faralex's kits keep getting taken by twolegs, bc in my backstory for alex he has a collar from rescuing some of his old loner buddies from twolegs
