Malleus sighed at the mere mention of Sebek. "Mn. I wish he wasn't so adamant about protecting me. I would love to not have to worry about him scaring people off more than I already do for myself." He shook his head. "Eh? Where do I go at night?" He gestured his hand. "How do you know I leave at night, Mona-Chan?"

Mona looked a bit guilty at his question. It sounded now as if she’d been spying. “I...fly at night sometimes,” she explained. “And I noticed you walking. I’m sorry if it was something you didn’t want me to ask about, Malleus-sama.” She sincerely hoped he wouldn't be upset.

"I don't know if I am that brave." Mona had never been in a situation where her bravery was tested, but she didn't think seeking the company of someone so gentle and quiet could be called brave, no matter how powerful they were. "But I do enjoy talking to you, even though Sebek likes to scold me for it. He says the young lord has better uses for his time."

He would probably scold her for this conversation too, but Mona didn't really care. She was used to dealing with her many brothers, so Sebek wasn't even much of a challenge. "Malleus-sama, may I ask, where is it you go at night?" She saw him at times when flying, and her natural raven's curiosity got the better of her.

“Do I like festivals or amusement parks?” Mona seems deep in thought for a moment. “Well…to tell the truth, I’ve never really BEEN to an amusement park, but they LOOK like they would be fun, especially the faster rides. I have been to a few festivals and they’re always a good time, especially with all the special foods and the games, so I think overall you could say I enjoy them.” She smiles gently. “I hope that answers your question, Malleus-sama?”

Mona smiles, happy to see Malleus smile. He always seems like he is either lost in thought or unhappy, and so the smile is a nice change. "Well, you are very tall and imposing, Malleus-sama. You are also very regal, like your ancestor. I think some find that intimidating. But since we will be working together for a very long time, it wouldn't do for me to be afraid of you, would it? Besides, I enjoy talking to you."
