God why must I torture myself with complex designs haha..also ignore the second sketch it’s MONTHS old LOL lemme know what you think of him and the AU overall!!! The AU is about upcoming immortal children trying to train to be the next God’s!!! (Very simple so far haha)

BNHA x Hikaru No Go Au

Basically I’ve started re-watching Hikaru no Go and I honestly love it so much. I’m not sure if I’ll make this into a fic or not because I’m really bad at remembering Go terms even though I absolutely love the game, but maybe a one shot? (Does anyone even know about Hikaru No Go lol)

Izuku is helping his mother clean out an old closet when he finds an old Go board.

He passes out when he suddenly see the spirit of Toshinori Yagi, a go player over 1000 years old who’s now attached to Izuku, with the goal of passing down his skill to someone

Izuku goes to a Go Salon because All Might wants to play Go, and show Izuku how a game is played.

There he meets an old childhood friend and prodigy Go player Bakugou whom he proceeds to play a teaching game with much to the chagrin of Bakugou who feels humiliated.

Izuku begins to find passion for the game over time and begins playing it himself instead of moving the stones for All Might

He does his best to catch up with Bakugou who he has decided Izuku is just a fraud after he tries to play him again but wins without a problem.

He makes friends with Iida and Uraraka, two Inseis.

Kirishima is Bakugou’s friend though he’s still an Insei, having failed the pro exam while Bakugou beat it.

The there’s Todoroki Shouto, son of Todoroki Enji Meijin

Todoroki won the pro exam at the same time as Bakugou, the two being the youngest to do so that year.

Todoroki finds Izuku’s games and moves interesting.

They play a game where Todoroki hesitates and plays in an erratic way, obviously refusing to play the way his father does

Izuku gets upset at him and tells him to play to his full potential if he really plans on being a pro.

Bakugou gets upset that Todoroki plays a serious match with Izuku instead of him.

Then there’s Aizawa, one of the title holders who sees potential in Bakugou and takes him as his student, in a study session that includes Shinsou and Monoma, two insei.

This is what I have so far though I might add some more later on. If anyone has any ideas feel free to add onto this!!

How To Effectively Write a Bakugou Katsuki Fanfiction!

So you want to write a fanfiction, featuring the amazingly awesome Kacchan Huh? Forget it. You’re totally unprepared. Unless I help your poor soul out of course! Because I’m such a caring and generous person, I’ll do just that! 

Follow this guide to the letter and you’ll totally write the best fanfiction featuring Bakugou ever!

Step 1: You definitely need to use curse words! Fuck, shit, dammit it, and shitty nerd are all incredibly necessary! The more you saturate your story with curse words, the better it will be! If you can combine them, then more power to you! 

Step 2: Bakugou is totally violent and uncontrollable! You can’t possibly think you’re writing a fanfic centered around him if he doesn’t punch or blow something up at least once per chapter. I mean who do you think we’re talking about?

Step 3: He totally doesn’t know how to speak in a normal tone of voice. I mean it’s Bakugou! He always has to be screaming at someone, usually the Bakusquad because c’mon that’s why they exist in the first place! Bakugou’s gotta vent his frustrations somehow! And while we’re on the topic of yelling, There should be at least one scene where Bakugou and his mother yell at each other because that’s clearly what their relationship is all about! 

Step 4: Deku. Stupid Deku. You’ve gotta make sure Bakugou is constantly threatening Deku. You have to make Bakugou’s hatred for him constantly clear, but I mean that’s just how things are. Obviously, Deku knows this and he’s always going to forgive Bakugou. That’s just how things are!

Step 5: We obviously have to show how cool Bakugou is! Have him fight against a super cool villain only he can defeat! Turn it into a redemption arc that excuses everything he’s done while you’re at it!

Step 6: If you happen to be writing an AU then Bakugou must be an amazing pro hero, the popular jock, the amazing prince/king / super Saiyan or any amazing role fitting of the great explodo king! 

Follow these steps and success is guaranteed!

The Irondad and Spiderson zine is a collaboration project, and its main focus is to create a writer-centric zine featuring several stories that will come together, as part of a single au featuring the father-son relationship between Tony Stark and Peter Parker. 

The current mod team is currently hammering out the finer details but at the moment we’re hoping to have 10 writers and 10 artists working together in collaboration as well as several merch artists to help create an array of merch.
