Here I am, drawing the most beautiful AU (to me, of course) in Miraculous Ladybug Community. Miraculous Ladybug Reverse AU! Seriously Adrien blushing whenever he sees Marinette approaching and Marinette having Misterbug’s (Yeah it’s also a kwami-swap AU what up) posters all around her room gives me heartattacks and guess what, I am weak for this AU.

I have thought about nearly all characters’ roles set up (except for Alya and Nino, I think those will never change in my eye…) and I don’t know what to do with it so just let me puke some oneshot comics and maybe scene redraws-

Percy Jackson is twelve years old.

He isn’t really anything special. In fact, if he was just less stubborn, he might even have some friends. But he is stubborn, and loyal, and nothing will convince him to stop being friends with his roommate, who wouldn’t be popular no matter who he was friends with.

And because he’s stubborn and because he’s friends with Grover and maybe for a couple of other reasons too, Percy Jackson tends to fade into the background when nobody is going out of their way to pick on him.

Something is off about him, and maybe people don’t really notice it because he fades into the background, but something about Percy Jackson just isn’t quite right. Quite normal.

Maybe it’s the distance behind his eyes when he zones out. How he seems to be looking not just through people but past them, like he can see to the end of the world and isn’t quite impressed with anything in it. Or maybe it’s something else, the way the air seems to thicken at the same speed his frown grew, the way his eyes seemed to darken when he was angry and flash bright blue when he laughed, shifting between blues and greens, lights and darks.

Whatever it is, it makes it easier for people to brush him off and ignore him. To not pay much attention when he starts imagining teachers that never existed, pushing people into fountains. When he starts snapping at teachers, stops holding back the biting insults his classmates had only ever heard whispered under his breath before.

Something about Percy Jackson is just…off.

wow how’s this for horrible, beckendorf’s going to hear gossip about a son of the big three entering elysium and he’s going to run to the gates and be like, “hey man, no way it’s been a few decades already. what year was it? you better have at least proposed to annabeth—” and then he sees it’s not percy and instead jason’s standing there and he’s like “you knew percy?” and beckendorf just gets this sinking feeling even in death bc he sacrificed himself for everything to be okay and things clearly aren’t okay and yeah. hm

What Is Love

Love, Magnus knows, is teasing Alec about his fashion choices even though he looks perfect in anything. It’s finger-painting with Max, watching the little blue boy turn rainbow-colored as paint gets /everywhere/. It’s feeding Rafe chicken noodle soup when he gets a cold and putting in more carrots than noodles because that’s how he likes it. It’s lying in bed at night and suddenly being crushed by the weight of both boys crawling over him and under the covers. Love is family.

Love, Julian knows, is seeing beauty in everything Emma does. It’s the anger when they fight that covers the fear of losing each other. It’s the aching void when they’re apart. It’s the giddy joy of just being together, talking and laughing like they were born to do. It’s the source of every emotion, the colorful streaks of feeling like paint on a canvas, forming a complex, breathtaking design. Love is art.

Love, Ty knows, is watching Kit’s face when Ty talks about Sherlock Holmes or anything else he cares about. It’s seeing the genuine interest gleaming in his eyes. It’s the tight, bone-crushing hugs that can calm him when nothing else could. It’s the fury in Kit’s eyes when anyone calls Ty “weird” or looks at him funny. It’s sharing their favorite words, and holding hands as they walk down the street, and just noticing everything about each other that no one else notices. Love is acceptance.

Love, Tessa knows, is both words scribbled in the margins of books and the sound of a violin playing a song just for her. It’s a feeling that fills you up, that can’t be pinned down to one cause. It’s sarcastic comments and silly jokes. It’s loud arrogance and quiet patience. It’s an ever-changing passion, that grows every day even though she thought she could never love any more than she did the day before. It’s ageless and unbreakable, pangs of grief over a hundred years later. Love is undefinable.

Love, Dru knows, is allowing herself to shine radiantly every day. It’s standing in front of the mirror with hands on her hips and a smile on her face, knowing that she is beautiful. It’s taking time alone when she has to recharge, even if Tavvy wants to play with her. It’s surrounding herself with things and people that make her happy. It’s sleeping with Tavvy curled against her, because it makes her feel strong and protective. It’s dressing up or dressing down, however she feels. Love is herself.

I have come to the conclusion these are probably Alastair and Thomas. Alastair dies in Thomas’ arms. Thomas devastated enrolls in the Scholomance, but while in there he regrets it. Long ago, Cassandra added this to her “TLH” pinterest board, with the caption “Thomas”:

In the Ghosts of the Shadowmarket short story called “The Lost World” Livvy finds a carving on Ty’s bedroom: “I did not choose this life” with a date: 1904 (remember Chain of Gold takes place in 1903)
