This ep really just made me curious on Darius's backstory with the previous Golden Guard

Hunter literally pointed out that Darius looked sad in one of the paintings and seeing what happens to most of the predecessors... it's easy to see why

Also, I wanted to point out that Darius immediately pushed Raine aside the moment a "Angry blonde teen" was mentioned.

Okay okay so did I get this right

The reason Belos had to make Grimwalkers was so he can have someone back him up or help him WITHOUT being skeptical about it. Because if he gets a witch, they'll catch on that what he is doing is bad. But if he starts from scratch, from a person that knows nothing, whose MIND is still HOLLOW, he can fill that person's mind with all sorts of things which will eventually become their truth, hence follow Belos on his worst sides without thinking it's bad.

BUT THEY CATCH ON EVERY TIME. Quite possibly because THEY HAD CONNECTIONS WITH SOMEONE OUTSIDE THE CASTLE. Every time they betray Belos, they are (allegedly) disposed and he has to make another one. A new one, whose mind is still hollow.

Can we talk about how Raine wanted to help Eda, but Darius held them back, but the moment Darius hears Hunter is stuck in the mindscape, he's ready to bust a door down?
