A little snippet from my WIP:

For one breathless moment, Harry could only stare.

The figure was young. Pale. Slender. Dressed in dark travel-worn robes that clung to a body too fine for the world it had fallen into. A silver-blonde curtain of hair framed a face that was far too beautiful to be real. High-boned, peaceful, still.

A boy.

And on his forearm, glowing faintly, was a tattoo unlike any Harry had ever seen: an intricate dragon weaving between unfamiliar sigils that seemed to shift when he looked too long.

The boy stirred.

His eyes fluttered open, grey like stormclouds. Ancient. Terrified.

“Don’t… touch it,” he whispered.

Then he collapsed into Harry’s arms.

I'm brewing a drarry AU that I'm really excited about. It just came to me and I have to make it reality 🥹

Draco: *exists*

Harry:

Draco: Now I know what I need

Harry: Therapy?

Pansy: An exorcism?

Draco: ... I was going to say love and appreciation.

Harry: So... I'm in love with Malfoy.

Ron: Draco Malfoy?

Harry: Yes. Thoughts?

Ron: And prayers. Bloody Hell...

Loch Ness churned and frothed beneath the hovering spectators, the surface alive with the glint of charms that danced like moonlight caught in a time-lapse. These magical barriers were meticulously crafted to protect onlookers from the chaos of rogue broom shrapnel, unexpected wand blasts, and the unpredictable flick of a Nessie's tail. High above the restless waters, racing brooms hung in the air, poised like dragonflies about to strike. The roar of the crowd surged in waves, their cheers and shouts echoing off the enchanted cliffs that surrounded the course, but to Harry, the world was reduced to the steady thud of his own heart.

And the taunting voice of Draco Malfoy.

“Try not to choke, Potter,” Malfoy said, his tone dripping with mockery as he nudged his sleek Obsidian V12 dangerously close to Harry’s polished Firebolt-X.

Harry tightened his grip on the broom handle, feeling the cool, familiar wood beneath his fingers. “Worried you’ll finally lose to someone who doesn’t cheat?”

Malfoy’s lips curled into a smile, not the practiced, charming one he reserved for reporters and fans, but a subtler, sharper one. It tugged at a part of Harry he didn’t quite understand, a sensation somewhere beneath his ribs.

“Please. I’ve been letting you win since we were twelve.”

“Funny. You don’t look like someone who’s been winning.”

“Is that why you keep watching me?” Malfoy’s gaze was unwavering, piercing.

Harry’s mouth twitched involuntarily. He shifted his focus to the countdown sigil glowing ahead of them, its numbers illuminating the air. Five seconds. Four.

Their brooms aligned, taut and ready like wands drawn in duel.

Three.

Two.

One.

Is there a drarry fic where they start a relationship BEFORE Draco becomes a death eater and he's starts avoiding Harry and they're arguing a lot and Harry is in denial at first but then discovers the mark and a whole angst-fest ensues? Things turn out okay in the end one way or another but yeah .. ANGST
