Am I the only one who’s lowkey kinda mad they turned II S4 into a competitive season again??? Like I was really excited at the prospect of characters “living their lives” like we were promised. I wanted to see slice of life type shit. Character dynamic angst if they really wanted to up the dramatics again. I wanted to see more romance couples get confirmed I wanted an object show, that wasn’t competitive for once. “You don’t have to play if you don’t want to” means several characters are probably going to be absent from the season all in favor for NEW characters in an already BLOATED cast. Maybe the new characters will be interesting idk. I wanted to see the already beloved characters get more screen time and see interactions between characters who never competed together. I wanted stupid shit like OJ having to run the hotels messes with paper trying to help, I wanted Paintbrush and Lightbuld taking care of bot and Lightbulb keeps getting Bot into danger so Paintbrush has to intervene. I wanted the corny Halloween special where everyone thinks the hotel is haunted only for it to be a prank from Knife and Bow. Slice of life shit. I wanted something new ig… idk maybe I don’t fully understand the direction the show is going in. The only way I see myself liking the new season is if they find a way to include every character and have no elimination. Knowing the show it probably won’t be that way. We’re going to need the POPPY LORE or whatever the hell plot line bs again. Maybe it’s just me and setting odd expectations idk

Also been upset with TPOT bc the pacing in that show is slow as hell and we currently have no idea what direction it’s heading in. It’s been a year since three n shit and two spoke for the first time in 6 months. Blah blah blah idk

Also, the new episode set up the PERRFFECTTT stakes for them to create some awful dystopian society. Your leaders have no more real wisdom then you. OJ's existed the longest and from what we've heard and seen he wasn't the best host.

None of them have real experience. They're just mimicking what they think life is like. Giving eachother jobs they aren't qualified for. Introducing their society through entertainment- oh it is SO good.

They have it wrong. It isn't the lack of the show that makes them feel so out of place- it's that this isn't what life is. You're trying to ignore death. You still rely on Shimmer technology. You want to avoid drama. You'll give whatever job you want to anyone who wants it, never working for it.

Life isn't immitation. You can't just play a role. But of course you don't know that, you've never experienced it.
