Elizabeth Báthory is one of the most prolific serial killers in all of history.

She was born into nobility and was highly educated but also very vain.

One day, infuriated, Elizabeth struck one of her servant girls so hard that some blood dripped from her face onto Elizabeth’s hand and she immediately thought that her skin took on a glowing freshness of her young maid.

Elizabeth believed she had found the secret of eternal youth. After this, women were abducted and hung upside down, while they were still alive and their throats were slit to prepare Elizabeth’s bath.

The Countess of Transylvania and four collaborators were accused of torturing and killing hundreds of girls, with one witness attributing to them over 650 victims, though the number for which they were convicted was 80. Elizabeth herself was neither tried nor convicted.

Roots

'Roots' is a creation of Pumpkinrot, who creates new and horrifying things for each Halloween. Roots, according to the creator, is a humanoid creature that emits the smell of decaying flesh to attract ravens or any other Corvid, though is known to eat larger animals. The work put into this creation is beautiful and amazingly detailed, and the other creations on the website are equally worth checking out.

FRANKENSTEIN MUMMIES FOUND

An international team of archaeologists have discovered that two mummies found on an island off the coast of Scotland are, like Dr. Frankenstein’s monster, composed of body parts from several different humans.

For example, scientists realized a female skeleton’s jaw didn’t fit with the rest of the skull, and after some DNA testing, they found that the bones had come from different people. In the case of a male skeleton, the parts were from people who lived hundreds of years apart. 

The reason for this is still unclear.

This youtuber explores abandoned mines. He states that the Horton mine located in Nevada was one of his creepiest experiences. As he ventures further down the tunnel he feels the presence of something negative & unwordly. He sees one of the chains swinging by itself. Just one chain, none of the others are moving. The chain’s movement is pretty irregular also. The moment he said he didn’t feel comfortable in there the chain started to be yanked slightly harder to the right as if indicating excitement. Most take this video as a legit paranormal file.
