So the DD3 cover art just dropped yesterday, and the Bethyl Discord server and me are currently GEEKING

We noticed a thin blonde woman in the background who hasn’t appeared in any of the trailers and hasn’t been mentioned at all but it looks like she’s going to be a big part of this season.

Maybe it’s just the more delusional corners of our brains talking, but honestly… she looks a lot like Beth.

It’s fuuucking wired Why wouldn’t they show her in the trailers at all, but then feature her in the actual cover art for the season?

Plus, Norman and a bunch of official TWD accounts have been posting throwbacks to Season 5 all week?

Daryl told Beth he had never cut his wrists looking for attention as if that was the first thing he needed to make clear. Like it stuck with him. Like he could never quite get it out of his mind. Because he couldn’t understand how a girl like her with all her light, with all her supposed privilege could carry the same kind of darkness he did.

I wonder how many times he thought about it while sharpening his knives.

Beth was a mirror of everything in him that scared the hell out of him kindness, vulnerability, grief that you can’t just bury beneath silence or rage.

When Carol told him he had to let himself feel the loss, and he started self-harming after Beth died it said everything. He’s never known how to cope with pain that isn’t physical. That’s all he's ever understood: wounds you can see, ones you can patch up or bleed out from.

I wonder what he did when Merle died.

I really hope you all enjoy this—it took a ridiculous amount of time and effort to finish! btw this is inspired by the incredible fanfic I’ll Catch Fire and Burn up by TheKingInGreene I highly recommend checking it out it's phenomenal, and I’m completely obsessed with it. <3 Also would y'all like to see more comics based on other fics I like? Or would you prefer more consistent fanart and sketch posts instead? Let me know what you'd enjoy most! :D

When I realized Bethyl was the only ship I shipped without it's own subreddit, it bothered me for days. So I did something about it and created one. It's still very rough and going to need lots of polishing, but it's something. Feel free to join! The more the merrier
