YESSIR!

when harada was a kid he had something called BACTERIAL MENINGITIS. it is a VERY SERIOUS ILLNESS and it has a lot of lasting side effects if you survive it - harada caught it at daycare when he was about two years old

as a result, he's deaf in one ear! but there are some other lasting effects for him as well:

he has a few cognitive delays. his memory, attention span and processing speed are all a little bit iffy. it took him a little longer to pick up things like reading and speaking.

his balance is kind of weak. he tends to stumble forwards a bit. if only he had some kind of BIG HEAVY OBJECT STRAPPED TO HIS BACK AT ALL TIMES to stabilise him......

he gets tired pretty easily, which he mostly just pushes through because hes a very busy guy. but it definitely leaves him very worn out at the end of most days

a combination of all of these things also makes him fairly clumsy

but hes a bit insecure about most of this so he keeps it quiet

Oh boy considering how chaotic last morning game got I fear how they'll handle the next one, especially if it has some similarities to decision game or defense game

But man this motive is WILD and I love it. Def going to make the investigation and trial interesting

I haven't rambled too much about blue on here but I gotta remember to do that more I have been LOVING this series and seeing these guys interact with the lab and the friendships being formed (Hirose-Denden, Yaitabashi-Nishiguchi, and Tsukigata-Ogura being my favs) and it's great

(spoilers about the phobia game secrets under the cut)

-Ikeda's secret just has me worry about his home life more and more esp since he's been acting very antagonistic for chapter 1 and it's not doing him any favors

-Tsukigata I also worry about since he said he was in Japan for competition but I wonder if that was the full story

-Denden : ((( I hope she was able to get support afterwards

-OUNO : ((( these kids need hugs and emotional support blankets

When Hirose and Isoda were talking about the secrets and how it was meant to put a target on someone's back and that the morning games are the scarier part of the motive in comparison to the handcuffs I WORRY FOR NEXT GAME

Also I hope Yokoi's doing okay if she makes it to the first BDA she's NOT going to take it well : ( none of these kids are

Sure hope Nishiguchi and Yaitabashi are okay in the freezer rn, the dorms have been described as being low-quality so I hope it doesn't apply for blankets or any extra layers of clothing

I just worry for these kids more and more as the BDA draws closer and closer but Blue is SO great I am loving these guys

Also I had to take multiple breaks drawing Kamimura & Tsuno because something about them makes me SAD. Chapter 3 RUINED MY LIFE and I'm expecting monetary compensation of at least $5,000.

I wanted to draw Watari too, but I'm still in the grieving process, so it was a total no-go.
