Hi! I've noticed your new versions of Dynastid eyes for vampires and Life and Death give this error in Sims4Studio - "Object reference not set to an instance of an object.". Does that mean something is missing that I need to download? Thank you for your time!

no you’re not missing anything. not sure why sims 4 studio would say it unless you don’t have those packs in which case sims 4 studio has no reference for what the eyes are trying to be default replacements for. they all work in game

Hii, I just downloaded your Beetle Eyes v2 as Default eyes and tried out your Heterochromia addon, but I noticed that the vampire versions are overlaying the heterochromia, so it doesn't show up if I choose it with the vampire eyes. It does show up with the base eye colours and the mermaid eye colours. Other Heterochromia addons (for example by TwistedCat) work with the Vampire Beetle Eyes too, but sadly the Beetle Eyes Heterochromia addon does not work with the Vampire Beetle Eyes. It's a bit sad, because some vampire eyecolours would be great using with normal sims in combination with the heterochromia. I just wanted to inform you in case you're not aware :).

yes the reason for this is the vampire eyes are actually an entire mesh that goes OVER the existing sims eyes, it’s strange and annoying but for any eyes that glowed in vanilla (vampires and some other individual occult swatches) the heterochromja is incompatible :(. they work with alien and mermaids however as none of those swatches glow

It's just too hard to hide my excitement when it comes to fantasy stuff and I finally got my favorite supernatural: FAIRIES! I felt SO blessed when I figured those wings out because it is a DREAM to be able to make my own fairy wings. I hope everyone haves fun with it too so I can download everyone's tries on it <3

There might be a bit of clipping because I haven't played much with the weights, but they work just fine.

They were supposed to have cute thumbs :( but they wont work. You will find them at the bottom of the wings section, but the thumbs look like the original wings from where I got the resources.

76 add-on non-default swatches in Sorbets Remix

Heterochromia for all ages also recoloured as standalone with custom thumbnail

Central Heterochromia for all ages in 76 Sorbets Remix swatches (located in Occult Eye Lid category)

Central heterochromia is not perfect, but that the best I can do (I redid it like five times and spent several days on it, I can't deal with it anymore 😅).

There are already Sorbets Remix recolours of Soft eyes, including heterochromia. But since I needed to recolour heterochromia for infants too I decided to make my own recolours, so everything matches.

@squea’s Soft Eyes updated

Updated all default eyes using @squea's no shine no glow template.

Updated heterochromia and included infants using @squea's Dynastid Eyes. Heterochromia is now located in Occult Eye Socket category. I also created heterochromia with addons colours, they appear after original ones.

I created new swatches for reaper rewards eyes and ghosts eyes and added them to facepaint version too.

@m0n0lithical created Soft Eyes for werewolves.

For now there are fairies, cottage living and horse ranch animals are missing. I don't think I am skilled enough to create those though, sorry.

A whole lotta default eyes:

Even though I made all of these default edits 1-2 years ago, if you were to ever ask me what my favorite eyes are in The Sims 4, they used to be Beetle Eyes by @squea... Then they released Beetle Eyesᵛ² (2021, anyone?) and I never looked back!

While editing, my goal was to give the eyes a little realism, but I didn't know how. Luckily, I was able to find @serawis's sclera, crybabies's sclera, and peachyfaerie's catchlight, and boom! Now you/me/I/we have these still-the-same-but-kinda-different Beetle Eyesᵛ²!

I've decided to share them to my Patreon if anyone is interested. Credit goes to the amazing squea, serawis, crybabies, and peachyfaerie!

Rest peacefully, little Omar

It is with a broken heart that we have to share the worst news imaginable with the NGU community. This weekend, the IOF bombed the neighborhood of Yahya Al-Habil and his family. Little Omar, Yahya’s 7-year-old brother who we have mentioned often, was martyred.

Both Yahya and his brother Mohammed are being treated in different departments for the severe injuries they sustained from this attack, and did not get the chance to say goodbye to Omar. They now urgently need $5,000 usd to continue treatment and hopefully stabilize their critical conditions.

Please share their story and donate anything you can to their campaign- this family cannot handle another loss.

thank you for acknowledging this!! the purpose of the ts4 wcifs community is so people who like and admire your posts can find custom content made by other talented creators that you’ve included in your posts as it’s unreasonable to expect anyone to answer huge amounts of wcifs they likely get. we encourage people to give information on where they found the image as it helps with the cc hunt. no one is ever taking credit for these screenshots so im not sure how a copyright strike was appropriate or possible in the first place. the ts4 wcifs community is based on cooperation and provides opportunities for smaller cc creators to get exposure. thank you for acknowledging and i hope this creates a positive change in the future :)

edit: if you report a post in the community it comes to the mods to figure out what to do with it, if you strike a post for copyright it skips mods and goes straight to tumblr which is what happened here and i think is important to differentiate.

in a relation to the recent situation, i have an announcement:

big sims creators, you aren't goddamn celebrities, don't start thinking of yourself as such. you're also not an inch above other simmers. don't start thinking of yourself as such.

also, not exactly related, but important to remember:

nothing legally stops us from editing, sharing and using anyone's cc any way we want, idk if people actually read ea's user agreement but i do, and it literally says that once you release your stuff, you give any player a permission to do anything with it.

you see, we abide by TOUs out of politeness, because being kind to each other is fun and punk and costs $0. please remember that. we make a choice to agree to your "rules" only because we love you. please remember it.
