Are teens really anti-social and non-conversational and stuck on their phones or are you just trying to form a conversation while asking them about stuff like their school curriculum (a tedious repetitive thing they at best suffer and at worst suffer from) while dissmissing them whenever they attempt to talk about their interests?

I had a dream last night that we hosted a "jpeg party," where everyone brought some sort of removable media with the most cursed image they could find. The winner for the night was a 1.4 gb image that, when looked at, removed your ability to pray.

Second place was a picture of something benign that was 3.4gb.

anyway all that to say that if you’re a dropout if you have shit grades if you go to an alt school and are looked down on for it if you’re in your 5th or 6th or whatever year of high school if you’re still getting your GED if you’re taking night classes if you missed out on “universal” high school experiences if you were abused by your peers (because make no mistake, that’s what bullying is) if you were expelled if you were truant every single year if you were homeschooled and got sick of the jokes if you never attended a full week if the whole world treats you like the scum of the earth all because of your high school experience or lackthereof you’re not alone. there’s so many of us that have been beaten down and broken by the school systems we’re subject to and the hostility they breed and the abusive environments they foster. some day we won’t have to be treated like objects of pity or contempt to be swept aside but until then we have each other

i love chrollo! i love chrollo! i love chrollo!

Chrollo doesn’t have much of an identity so he steals some of yours. Switches his cologne to one that compliments yours, may or may not pick up on some of your speech patterns or your mannerisms. He takes your books sometimes, he always make sure to return them when he’s done reading them though. Your favorite movies, your recipe book, your morning and evening routine, he weaves tidbits of everything into his own life. It serves a double purpose, understanding you on a personal level and also adding on to his identity by clinging on to yours.

currently obsessed with the idea of your pet absolutely hating chrollo. he can charm your family/friends/co-workers, but animals are a no-go. your dog would growl and bark at him and your cat is going for a scratch 100%. bristling and hissing. they sense that his vibes are off and there's no way to smooth talk an animal. it makes him sigh whenever he thinks about it.

no i wholeheartedly agree. hes abusive and horrible but people forget hes literally still a teenager himself and wouldve grown out of it if he decided to, reference: in the last moment he literally chose to grow out of himself. obviously you shouldnt "fall in love with potential" but an abused kid turning into an abusive teenager isnt uncommon and also not the end all be all. hes not a real villain hes not even the villain of maxs story.

when i rewatched i realized that he isnt actually a villain as soon as he talked to his father and stepmother about max being old enough to not need a babysitter and that they should've been there instead. he just needed to move out and get some healthy connections and communicate with max as someone he's not forced to take care of whos not pushed in his face as the sibling that matters more.

I miss billy Hargrove

Although his actions are very questionable throughout the seasons he was on …. I kinda sympathise with him.

The phrase “hurt people hurt people” plays into his character very well. He’s seen repeating the same type of abuse his father inflicted on him. Eg: when Neil had pushed up billy against the shelf, billy reciprocated with shoving Lucas back at wills home.he reveals his violence only to those closest to him, especially those he's more likely to win in a fight against

His violence toward Lucas could be read as subtle signs of racism. But the first time he comes across Lucas is after witnessing him and Max having some form of argument which left her visibly upset, it's also possible that due to his past experiences with his father's violence toward him and his mother, he assumed Lucas was much like Neil Hargrove.

Billy, who - despite his bravado - is still a child and needed to be raised with care and love, not the resentment he receives from schoolmates/Neil.

I’ve seen people write for this character but they get hate for writing about him when other writers are writing for characters who are just as antagonistic but just because billy hasnt killed anyone yet he doesn’t exactly fit the evil mastermind villain trope.

Billy fits the human antagonist and the reason why people hate on him so much because of his abusive behaviour, which is a non fictional antagonistic characteristic.

Bakugo is a character that resembles him quite a lot. Some similarities are:-

short-tempered

aggressive

They often have difficulty accepting their mistakes and shortcomings

sinister, violent undertones to their characters

violent

The point is if people are writing for characters that are just like billy or worse than him why do the writers writing for him get so much hate, if you don’t like reading for a certain character, just block the tag. It’s that simple

Anyways now that I’ve ranted I’m gonna go add billy to my list of characters cuz I feel like writing angst for him lol. Maybe I’ll finish my pending drafts eh
